What a great spotting scope for the money!Value for money:Great Value!Sharpness:Image is amazing

It’s good out to around 300 yards with larger caliber but smaller caliber 22 rimfire is good to 100 yards maybe a little more

Glass is clear, bright, and sharp at the center through all magnifications, some edge haze looking off axis (I wear glasses). My max target range is 300 yards. For sighting in short range deer rifles, it is perfect value. Works for the job I need it, but not so expensive I fear it getting broken. Tri-pod is fine for range days, maybe not the field.

I bought this spotting scope to save me frequent 100yds, 200yds, 300yds walks to look at targets at the rifle range. I was impressed by the extras included (tripod, smart phone adapter) and the overall design of the Konus spotter. However, the image clarity and resolution leave much to be desired. Even at its lowest 20x power, the targets at 100yds were less distinct, less crisp, less refined than at 6x on my rifle scope.The Konus Spotting Scope's small focus/resolution knob would help somewhat, but even when I was patient and slowly adjusted that knob in very tiny amounts, the image resolution simply wasn't very good.I cannot imagine using this to identify a particular bird species at 100 yds. It was almost useless looking at a Redfield Precision Sight-In Target at 100 yds.Perhaps I got a defective model. In any case, I am returning this Konus Spotting Scope and will go back to using my walk-to-target method.

Very clear

Spotting scope is clear and works fine for seeing .30 cal holes at 200yds. But after my 2 year warranty expired one of my lenses came loose in the eyepiece. Called Konus direct in Florida and they told me they have no repair parts to sell me after I asked if I can purchase a new eye piece since I knew I was out of the warranty period.So figure on 2 years of use and then buy a new one, preferably of a different brand that will support their own product..

For the money, I really loved this thing! But buyer beware! After a couple of years the rubberized coating will break down and become sticky! Mine was only used on three occasions, and was stored safely in it's carry bag on a shelf in my bedroom closet in what I consider a pretty stable environment. There has been no excessive heat, cold, or UV, and this thing is now so sticky that I don't want to touch it. Nothing wipes off the stickiness either! Google it, and you will see this is a COMMON problem with these Konus products.

Nice scope and is definitely a real value for the money.BUT the tripod is cheap as hell yet the scope is clear, bright and I can without a doubt, clearly see .22LR round holes at 100 yrds.I'll search around for a decent tripod to replace the plastic one.I am very happy with my purchase.
