These vent caps are amazing. They were easy to install and came with a drill bit to use to drill the proper size hole in the gas can. They were easy to put in and have made the vent issue with gas cans so much easier to handle. All you do is unscrew the top on these and you have a perfect size vent to get your gas out easily. This is really a great product!

This is over engineered and easy to install. Love it.

5 gas jugs. They needed venting even during storage. Prevents swelling and jug collapse. Fit great and good quality mostly metal. Seals are vents easily.

Finally installed the vents. They worked great EXCEPT that the sealing ring in the caps were not compatible with gasoline. I installed the vents just about 1/4” above the full (5 gallon) full level. Full cans were not stored perfectly level so the gasoline was in contact with the cap gaskets. Days later the cans started seeping gasoline out of the screwed vent caps. After removing the vent caps, the gaskets had swollen up from original 8 mm to 11.5mm and were twisted up in the top of the caps so Basil’s that they would not seal.Easy fix, I used metric o-rings that were 4.8 mm id x 8.6 mm od x 1.9 mm cross section. They fit perfectly, just make sure the o-rings are of a material that is compatible with petroleum products and gasoline as well as diesel if that is what you have on the containers.Yes I would buy them again, well made product except for that square o-ring under the cap.I hope this helps someone.

The media could not be loaded. Installed this on my Midwest Jerry can and my 3 gallon rotopax it does not leak on either and both work amazingly I would also highly recommend an aftermarket nozzle from ai13 billet with a shipping spacer combined all together it makes the perfect gas can

Five stars because it badly beats the competition in terms of concept and ease of installation. Other vent cap systems like those that come with popular easy pour legacy replacement spouts are not threaded and can disastrously pop off and allow spills when gas/fuel is being transported - a big no no. I didn't use the one that came with the easy pour spout I bought. For me a gas can's number one job is to safely transport its contents. Pouring the fuel is the number 2 job. That said, I would not fill a can using this system to the point where the vent cap internal gasket is submerged during long term storage - even for 24 hours.. This would cause unnecessary chemical stress on the gasket material, which doesn't look to be the highest quality known to man in terms of chemical resistance. I assume the gasket is good for normal sloshing contact with fuel during transport and pouring operations - not submerged prolonged and unnecessary type contact due to over filling. I may be wrong, but I don't plan to overfill the can for that reason and others.

I used these air vents for my unvented gas cans previously purchased. Huge difference pouring gas into my yard equipment. The flow is predictable and much faster than the gasp and sputter method of the new spouts. It also will keep moisture out of the container that is vital to storing gas for longer periods of time for seasonal use or emergency applications. The instructions are well written and installation took me about 5 minutes. Easy Peasy 👍

Product seems ok, though 2 of the six wouldn't tighten enough to seal.

they show a picture of 8 units but you only get 6. The text says there are 6...I just find the picture misleading.
