Exquisite Papers
I’ve been looking for such a product for five years (since moving from a major metropolitan area to a small community). I use fine handmade papers to cover treasured paperback books with garish covers. Ordered these papers with fingers crossed. I could not be happier with these exquisite handmade, sustainability grown papers. They are utterly beautiful. Further, they are obviously durable, not necessarily one use papers. They can be folded & refolded. The initial folds seem to be “forgiven”, as new folds are made. I find it rare to find such quality today. I’ve ordered two more roles—yes, they come rolled in a sturdy cardboard box to assure that they arrive as they were sent. I highly recommend.

Darker, richer color and gorgeous paper
The purple color of this lokta paper is significantly darker than in the photo, which was surprising but also delightful! The deeper, richer color really shows off the silver printed stars, and makes the paper seem even more elegant. It has a wonderful soft texture, and the size and amount of paper is generous for the price. I'm very happy with my purchase, and look forward to creating many gifts with this beautiful handmade paper!

I love this paper
It is SUCH good quality, the color is true to the photo represented in the product details. It came rolled in a cardboard poster tube which kept it from creasing, etc. I will DEFINITELY keep buying from this seller, and I would highly recommend their products to anyone who needs quality handmade paper.

Beautiful, unique handmade paper.
This paper is different than anything else you'll find for wrapping paper. Sustainable and handmade it has a unique feel and appearance. It can be reused as the handmade texture gives it a rustic appearance and the paper is heavy enough to withstand repeated foldings. Finally it is totally recyclable as it is 100% Lokta plant fiber with organic dyes. And the bee print is awesome!

Excellent for creating rustic books and journals.
This is a fantastic paper for bookmakers and art journal enthusiasts. Very opaque, and a little thicker, but more pliable, than grocery bags, plus it has fibers running through it for durability.

Not Exactly What I Was Expecting
This is the second product I have purchased from pon Kathmandu Valley Co.. The first product was a journal. The color of the pages was light tan and loved the texture but the pages were VERY THIN. The writing could be seen on the other side which essentially made the product 1/2 the amount of pages I was expecting.I ordered this paper because I liked the color and texture of the book & the picture matched. What I received today was brown smooth paper. It seems like just brown wrapping paper which is not ideal for making signatures for my journal. I was expecting the color to be closer to the color of the label in the picture and the picture they posted. My photo was taken under bright white light but in yellow light which I have in my house it looks very dark and more like craft paper. I am very disappointed. Over $30 spent. I will probably return it. I will say if you want to make a pirates treasure map or use this as wrapping paper it would be lovely. But not ideal for my journals. I am aware there are going to be sue variations. But this is craft paper brown not light tan as depicted.
