Pierre Auguste Renoir - Luncheon of the Boating Party: 1,000 Piece Puzzle

We always work 1000 pc puzzles and this one was challenging due to the muted and pastel shades. Based on Renoir's painting in the Impressionist style, the figures are meant to be "fuzzy" or blurry and that made it hard to see how the pieces fit together at times. We completed it in less than two weeks. Pomegranate puzzles are always high quality. The pieces were different enough to be distinguished, not all the same as with some puzzles we've done.

Very challenging due to brushstrokes blending colors. P's artpiece puzzles are the best if you want a challenge. Better have a system of attack, otherwise you will be at the table a long time and grow eye weary.

This is a really hard one because of the pastel colors but I love it. The Pomegranate puzzles are simply the best, all pieces fit nicely and they are sturdy. I’m not buying any other anymore

The puzzle box had a huge hole. Luckily, the pieces were in a bag, so nothing was missing. I'll have to tape it, but I was going to give this as a gift.

Beautiful impressionist painting, difficult but rewarding.

The crispness of the image and the color quality was poor. Also an insert poster would have been helpful. I have several Pomegranate puzzles and they have always been high quality....the color and clarity was very poor on this puzzle but it was well made.

Still trying to get this assembled. Very tough with limited pallete differentiating the image.

The box picture is much clearer and lighter than the actual puzzle. A tough puzzle that our group of adults could not finish I a week of several hours of daily effort. We got 80 percent done.
