Me and the Measure of Things

My son was not interested in learning about measurements because let’s face it there are a ton to learn about and it get kinda confusing. This book is awesome and goes through all the measurements and then has a measurement table in the back that can be used for reference.

I bought this as a present for my nephew who is 100% all in on numbers and it came highly recommended. I was giving him a level and a measuring tape for his 5th birthday (super safe presents for an older brother who likes tools) and thought these would make a nice preamble. Sure enough, six months later, he is still rattling off the titles of all three, and insists on having them read to him several times a week. His aunt, a first grade teacher and reading specialist, says they're a great dovetail to the kinds of things they teach in first grade.

The product itself is great, however the book came to me ripped. Instead of going through the hassle of returning i just taped it.

Speedy shipment. The book was in great condition. I love the books by this author because they are perfect for elementary grades, especially English Language Learners because they provide lots of pictures and they are written in friendly formats.

I highly recommend this book. It is so well-written. It explains measuring MUCH better than I could have done on my own. It also arrived on-time and in great condition.

Great book for my kindergarten measurement unit!!!

Good learning tool.

Its a quite good book but when i read it to my 4 year old i need to skip some bits as lots of measurements are for USA, things we don't use here. Still gives him an idea how to measure thing, in a very imaginative way
