UNSAFE Replacements for 2010 Chrysler 300C!
After ~14 years the lug nuts on my 2010 Chrysler 300C's tires had seen better days so I decided to replace them. Amazon said (and still says, as of this writing) that these nuts fit on my car. Technically they do, which is to say the inner thread is of the correct dimension.HOWEVER, these nuts are shorter (base to top height) and narrower (outer dimension) than the OEM lug nuts they were intended to replace. This means there is less metal-to-metal contact holding the nuts in place, less metal to hold the wheel onto the car, AND would require a new/different lug wrench to install/remove. There is no vehicle in the world that is made safer by replacing your OEM lug nuts with shorter, smaller, thinner lug nuts.Absolutely not worth the safety risk. I returned these to Amazon literally within ten minutes of their arrival. Be VERY VERY CAREFUL when buying these. Even if Amazon says they're okay for your car, they very well might not be.
