Intellectually challenging book. I was reading it when I first met the woman who was to become my wife. She is Polish, and my reading of this book was the first topic of conversation between us. She read it in the original Polish.

The title of this masterpiece by the then Karol Wojtyla, clearly states what we should strive for in our intimate relationships and through his obvious compassion and clear understanding of the human condition, he gently but firmly leads us to a refreshing and enthralling discovery of how to achieve the ideal of love with responsibility.
