This is an replacement phone and we are very pleased with it.

GOING DOWNHILL
THIS IS THE SECOND TIME WE HAVE PURCHASED TWO OF THESE REFURBISHED UNITS. THE FIRST TIME THEY GAVE RELIAVLE SERVICE FOR TWO YEARS UNTIL THE BATTERIES FINALLY STARTED TO REQUIRE FREQUENT RECHARGING. WITH OUR LATEST PURCHASE , WE ARE NOT SO FORTUNATE. OUT OF THE BOX IN DECEMBER, THE BATTERIES REQUIRE CHARGING AT LEAST EVERY THREE DAYS,EVEN THOUGH WE ARE BOTH NOW FULLY RETIRED AND DONT USE THE PHONES MUCH AT ALL. THIS TELLS ME THAT THE BATTERIES WERE NOT UPDATED WHEN "REFURBISHED". ADDITIONALY, ONE OF THE PHONES HAS TOUCH SCREEN PROBLEMS AND REQUIRES A GREAT DEAL OF PRESSURE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN TO SWITCH PAGES AND CLEAR.OVERALL, NOT PLEASED. WE DIDN'T EXPECT NEW PHONES, BUT WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO EXPECT FUNCTIONAL PHONES. IT LOOKS THAT THESE PHONES WERE REFURBISHED BY CLEEANING THE SCREEN.
