Excellent low cost brakes
This is a 5 star product even though the handles need to be swapped as many other others have mentioned. FYI it is very easy... if you can use a wrench, then you can swap them. Very little or no fluid will spill out. Anyway, my Shimano brakes were not doing their job properly, so in order to save them, I tried flushing & bleeding the lines, replacing the pads, and replacing the rotors, but not of these things helped. I ordered these brakes based on the positive reviews, even if I was hesitant about the need to swap the handles first thing. They worked great on the first ride, with both front and read brakes gripping strong on hills. The handle squeeze has a nice solid feel so that you have confidence in your braking. After repeat on Arizona trails, they have only gotten better. I highly recommend these.

Great System for the price! Note: Rear Brake is on right side!
Great product! Easy to install. Just note that rear brake is on right side and front brake is on left side with this kit. Not an issue I just loosened the jam nut and then yanked out the line/olive and swapped sides. Did lose some fluid and brakes now go down a bit further so I will need to bleed them.

Easy to swap the brake levers!
The price for these brakes were great so I went ahead and bought 2 pairs to update the brakes on some older spare mountain bikes. The swap of levers took less than 5 minutes and I didn’t spill 1 drop of brake fluid. All you need is an 8mm wrench. And something to lean the lever against so the open end is facing up. I was prepared to bleed the brakes if needed but no fluid was lost. Here’s what I did.1. Pull the rubber covers off.2. Use the 8mm wrench to unscrew the nut. You just need the wrench to loosen the nut, you can unthread the rest by hand. Do not pull the hose off yet.3. Repeat step 2 on the other handle.4. Pull the hose off, keep the hose end and handle thread end facing up.5. Pull the hose off the second handle and replace it with the one that was removed before.6. Connect the other hose and handle.7. Put the rubber covers back on and your done!I gave these brakes 4 stars because they don’t stop as well as I expected. They do the job, just not as well as I hoped. I do have used brake discs so that might play a factor. Still glad I bought these.

Worst POS ever, total ripoff
Update: after using these awhile the pads started to wear out, and when I went to turn the adjustment screws I discovered they were already all the way and you cannot turn the adjustment screw at all, only out. This means they charged the oil system with the bare minimum of oil in them, just enough to work. When it does come time for adjustment there is none. I suspect there's a way to add oil, but I shouldn't have to do that on brand new brakes. So they are as is, and you cannot adjust for wear. Also it comes missing important hardware where the surfaces meet and are supposed to be semi adjustable.. pads literally burn off and you can smell them burning, and as soon as there is the least amount of wear you have to add oil to the system, not an easy thing to do. To explain more clearly, the single piston will only come out a tiny distance because of the lack of oil pressure. These are unsafe and dangerous. They also leave out the adjusters that are supposed to be used on ALL disc brakes. They just bolt on and if isn't aligned perfectly aligned then oh well, because theres no adjusters. You can use your old ones but shouldn't have to and in my case I don't have any.

Good stopping power
This fits right on to my razor MX650 frame. The only problem is the rear brake rotor is too small. I got a bigger 160mm rotor problem solved.

after break in
I bought front and rear separately to put on a 2005 giant reign. didnt want to spend a lot on the bike as I wanted to ride it as a backup. these replaced some Hayes that had failed. I had to exchange the front as the first one came with the wrong lever and reservoir was on the bottom. after got the correct parts, the first ride they were only marginally better than some tekno mechanical discs I have on another bike. By the second ride they were much better and now its a 1-2 fingers needed depending on force needed. For comparison I have a 2019 bike with shimano xt and that only takes a very light 1 finder under all conditions. So these are ok given the price point and are usable. took minutes to install. Edit- I ended up replacing the front with shimano mt-201. Same price and they are much better power and feel
