Still the best...
Oversized & not too salty. Great addition to soups, stews & sauces.

Great beefy bouillon but one problem...
Best beef bouillon I've tried. By far. Really tastes like beef. Highly recommended! One thing to mention, though; When you heat this up in two cups of water, 16 ozs, you get a really nice slight oiliness on the liquid bouillon. Looks perfect! Natural. But use it while it's hot! When it cools, that liquid oil sheen becomes solid wax. Wax. Wax. Did I say wax? I meant WAX! Candle wax! Imagine using one of your good spoons to pour melted wax for candles. That's WAX. REAL WAX! Hard candle wax! It takes HOT water and scrubbing to get it off your spoons and be SURE to wipe the bowl out with a paper towel when it's still hot to get the soft wax out ahead of washing. Don't let this stuff go hot down your drain! Used in a rice cooker, this stuff is terrific! Makes great stuffing, makes great mashed potatoes, makes great pasta!

Good to have in the pantry
Knorr is not my favorite brand and I usually make my own broth, but I was pleasantly surprised by this. The flavor is good and it dissolves well.

My preferred bouillon product
I Could no longer find knorr Beef. Bouillon cubes at Fred Meyer and Safeway. This is the cube that I’ve used for years and know exactly how much I need for my recipes. Yes, I’ve tried the powders etc they just don’t taste the same and I have to keep fooling around with my recipe to get it right

Bold Beef Flavor
These are the perfect ingredient for most my cooking needs. Just heat up some water throw one of these in & you have a very delicious beef broth. I use it for my dog's homemade milk bones, for soups, & for my lunches of beans and rice. I've seen they have gone up in price since my purchase - I bought them for under $1 & they were a steal at that price. They are easy to use & give the broth a hearty beef flavor. I would definitely recommend these if you like beef bases.

Solid base hit, right price
Not as beefy-flavored as the chicken ones are chickeney-flavored...but, do nicely in a cup, in a recipe or just dumped over some vegs that need some salt. Not a home run product, but a solid performer. Can’t beat the price, and unless you’re gonna make your own bone broth, there’s no reason to go to any more trouble than unwrapping one of these.

Very salty
I bouhght this as add-on item. The cubes do give you a little beefy flavor. However,it's too salty and the soup is thin.It doesn't really contain a lot of nutritional value.
