CanaKit Raspberry Pi 2 Complete Starter Kit with WiFi - 32 GB Edition

As a former ardunio user, I was looking for something that out of the box provided a variety of uses - this kit fit the bill exactly. CanaKit created a kit that makes it possible for you to achieve most OS level projects, granted you have some accessories laying around.Raspberry Pi 2 - What a beast of a computer, this is a great product with the onboard microSD, HDMI, audio, etc - this is a great product.Case - Fantastic case that fits snug and wont come apart with normal useWifi - Plug it in, and configure - that simpleHeatsinks - I attached them right away, so I dont know if they are providing any benefit, but my unit is not hot.Powersupply - Provides enough amps to power everything I have plugged into it - Blutooth, Wifi, USB drive, USB Keyboard and Mouse, game controllers, etcHDMI Cord - good quality, doesnt feel cheap and have had no problems with itWell designed packing - love getting a box that was organized and not just a bag with parts thrown in it. A+ for that!So far, by using BerryBoot, I have ran RetroPie, RasPlex, Kodi, Debian OS, and the Webserver client with no issues.

Not a bad deal nor a great one especially after you factor in all the bits you need to get it running and interfaces. , not sure how much use I'll get out of it as it is pretty damn slow compared to any other laptop/tablet/desktop/phone I have... But I'll see if I can find a use for it that involves me getting into Linux distros or controlling stuff with it.The kit basically snaps together with the exception of the camera I added making you do really bad things to it's ribbon cabling in order to put that inside the included case.

Exactly what I needed in a super handy little kit. It didn't take long at all to set up and run Xbian/Kodi on it by following the instructions. I think these kits are perfect for someone who is new at this. I chose this one because it had the bigger memory card and wifi, but you can get the cheaper kit and use a cord for internet. The cute little case clicks right together. You can plug your usb mouse and keyboard into it or get the wireless keyboard for it. Very pleased with this. Will definitely buy again. Now I'm looking for excuses to get another one. :)

Smartly packaged, great starter kit for a noob and his 8 year old. The SD card comes pre-loaded with everything you need to get programming. One piece of advise, use a second SD card. We copied the one provided and are keeping it as a backup. If you plan on doing something that involves a lot of overwriting, you will be happy to have the fresh backup with all the operating systems ready to go if and when the card you are using fails.

The raspberry pi 2 is fantastic! You can do so much with it since it is a mini wireless computer. This is such a great deal for a small computer that you can do a lot with. It does come with a heat sink and double sided thermal tape.I do recommend getting the Aerb X-A8 air mouse and keyboard. It will make your life a lot easier when using this with your tv.

Not useful my fault

This is one of my best online purchases I have made in the past year or so. Even though its easy to download the "NOOBS" software I kinda like that it comes pre loaded on the SD card. I cant wait to play some more retro games and customize my pi computer even more :)

Got this for my son to learn about coding. Wow was I blown away at how quickly I was also learning and how simple and fun they made it. Best if you want to get your kids into coding or just knowing there way around a computer this is definitely a device I would go to.
