American Sound Connection Car Audio Single 12" Slot Vented Paintable Baffle Stereo Sub Box Enclosure

The box had minor damage probably from shipping. Still works just fine and exactly what I was looking for.

The box worked very well for my two NEP 10" subs. They hit extremely hard way down low, but lacked a little range up in the higher Hz. I would recommend a sealed box if your going for sound quality, but if you're trying to get the most SPL out of a couple cheapo subs like I was trying to do, well then this box should work for you pretty good.For a big pre-fab enclosure, constructed out and of 3/4" MDF, including paintable trim rings, priced under $150 and shipped to your Home's front door, it's a pretty dang good deal.I pre-drilled all my subwoofer mounting holes and installed machine screw threaded inserts. This way I eliminated all the problems associated with removing and reinstalling the subwoofers when using regular wood screws. Which anyone who has done this before knows all about the mounting hole mess/nightmare your enclosure turns into after only a couple times pulling your subs in and out. It's impossible to avoid destruction of the mounting holes... That is, unless you install threaded inserts!I also used some silicone on all the seams and joints inside the box and around the connector terminal cups. Then I stuffed the interior with poly fill prior to installing my subs in it.Just make sure you prep the trim rings well before spraying them. I just quickly shot some cheap blue spray paint on mine without doing ANY prep, and it didn't take much to flake some paint off. After this I ended up wrapping my trim rings with carbon fiber vinyl wrap. It turned out awesome!But it was pretty difficult to do cleanly.Unfortunately, I don't have pictures of it and ended up selling the enclosure with my car.The speaker connectors are pretty delicate, and wouldn't take too much pressure from over tightening the speaker terminals to break them.Overall for the price paid for the quality product I received, I would totally recommend this enclosure! After all the fine touches I added to this box, It was about as nice as you can get in any pre fab enclosure!

The media could not be loaded.  Great Box and even better customer service from HiFi! The Skar Evls sound good in there, the lows aren’t the greatest but overall it slams! The paintable baffles are a nice touch as well! 5*

First thing this box was shipped to me damaged, I had to repair one side of the box were I guess they drop it on it's side.. second this box is not tuned to 31hz more like 40 to 47hz..

this 3cu.ft. box will get your 12 slappin for sure. big sound and none of that "whoosh" you get from smaller boxes. customize the front baffle however you want. it's well worth the price

Great box. Really shouldn't break at all, very sturdy build. I put 2 skar vfx 15inch subs in there and it sounds awesome. I wish it could hit the absurd lows a bit better, but i like the experimental low frequency music a lot so my opinion isnt all that reflective against normal music. This will be perfect for most people who like and absurdly loud system. Not a bad budget box at this size. Cant really argue with about 6 cubic feet of space total.

It came in with cracks resulting in it blowing apart due to the bass

This box is very nice and well built, however the shipping left a lot to be desired. It was packed in a thin cardboard box and by the time I received it there's a smashed section of the overhang surrounding the subs and the carpeting is marred and scuffed to the bare box on a few different places. So it's ascetic value is no longer 🤔. I am not happy with the condition I 😕received it in. Although it suffered no structural damage it's not nearly as pretty as it is after manufacturing.
