I find these capsules sooo much easier to take than the powder stuff you have to mix in, which not only tastes horrible but turns to gel in the glass and you have to glug it down so quickly. These are easy peasy, just make sure you have a large drink with them (I cheat and have mine with a large cup of tea). The dosage on these is 700mg - worth checking as not all which are advertised are as high. It depends on your needs, of course, and we’re all different but for me, these are worth the slightly higher price. As I have diverticulosis, I take three a day and as a result, I haven’t had a flare up of actual diverticulitis (the associated infection) in months. No more bloating or discomfort and I’m regular as clockwork now. These are on my regular shopping list now, great price and total peace of mind for me.

After running out of this type of tablet I usually get from elsewhere, I remembered that I use to buy these on Amazon. A good price for lots of tablets that will last for some time. They use to really stop me bloating and I felt it helped with my digestive health. Early days yet but so far no problems and they arrived quickly.

It takes a lot for me to go to the effort to write a review on here, but I feel swindled after buying this product. Having bought this product several times before, I was surprised how light it is, and then discovered that it's less than half the product volume of the identical product I purchased previously (81g vs 196.8g). As if to insult the customer further, it clearly says that 2 capsules provides 1,400mg, however if there are 240 capsules, and the product has a net weight of 81g, then this can't possibly be true. A serving presumably is 700mg?? Comparing a capsule from the previous to this products shows they are clearly half the size. In addition, whereas the previous product lists 'Psyllium Husk' as the sole ingredient, this product now lists 'bulking agent' as the primary ingredient. (Psyllium Husk Extract is the third ingredient). In the grand scheme of things, it's not the end of the world. I've made other purchases that have proven more problematic, however I find this more frustrating because this feels like a bare-faced con. For the first time in many years, I'll be seeking to get a refund as a matter of principle.

Improved my gut health

I had to change from sachets that I put in juice as they were no longer available, and I was sceptical. But I'm relieved to report that they work as well as the sachets did. The added bonus is that I can enjoy my breakfast orange juice without having bits of husk floating in it. Easy to swallow and tasteless. Would recommend

The best bowel regulator is Normacol...or sterculia...but the company distributing it have, in their wisdom, decided to discontinue it because supplies are often disrupted (it's a natural product which is cultivated). Psyllium husk is the next best thing, maybe...I'm still playing around trying to find an alternative to sterculia. Whilst it does work in a similar way, the recommended two teaspoons a day is laughable. I need more like 10! It's very unpalatable: turns to gel in liquid very quickly, and is a bit gritty. Trying to get ten teaspoons in you is a nightmare. Capsules seemed a more practical alternative, so thought I'd give these a go. But I found these extremely difficult to swallow. They're not huge, but I just couldn't swill them down. But again, the recommended dose is laughable for me. I decided to empty the capsules to make it easier to take, but realised seven of them was barely a teaspoon. Too insignificant to help me. The quantity I need means breaking out too many of the capsules. My search continues.

I've bought other supplements from this company before and so had no hesitation in ordering this product from them. I've not long started taking it, but all seems well. I am happy to recommend this company.
