TAZO Fresh Brewed Black Iced Tea, Unsweetened, Makes 1 Gallon (Pack of 20)

Since the True iced black tea is impossible to find anymore this is a great substitute. Follow the instructions of the True Iced Black Tea instead of the instructions on the box and it will taste just like it. If you follow the instructions on the box it comes in, it will not taste the same. Tazo is my favorite black tea and becoming increasingly harder to find. Even this one has started to run out some times and occasionally get bags that are very weak. Hopefully this tea does not disappear forever.

Best iced tea I have ever tasted.

In my prior review I only gave two stars because the tea bags fell apart and the tea was weak, when I brewed it hot per the directions. But then I switched to making it in an ice tea maker. The tea bag goes in the infuser, you add cold water and refrigerate overnight. These tea bags say one gallon, but my ice tea maker holds one quart, and this comes out perfectly, refreshing and delicious.

Great flavor, Very smooth, Very refreshing. The tea is excellent but the tea bag is fragile. Tears very very easily.

I’m a loyal Amazon and Tazo buyer for years of their black iced tea. My usual order was out of stock. So I bought in bulk. The tea bags are 2-3 times larger. No directions in box. I have asked seller three times for something simple. I didn’t ask for a return I asked for something really difficult -,how much water to brew the tea and how much water to add. This isn’t rocket science. I keep getting a reply that the seller never heard from me. Are you kidding me! I even called the company. I got an answer of 8 ounces!!! The normal size takes way more than that. Then I buy the concentrate cartons. I made one and another friend try that - using an equal amount of water. We both threw it out. The taste was terrible. What the hell is so hard in responding to a simple ask for directions. I don’t get an answer , I will search for every food editor that I’ve ever worked with. Maybe they will know more. A very long term Amazon and Tazo buyer who has had it!

I've bought these bags many times since the original bags used by Starbucks disappeared. Despite no directions I'd figured out how to get 2 gallons out of the large bags and tea was very close to SB original. However, the bags in the box I purchased in January are smaller, thinner (several arrived torn), and the tea is much weaker. The tea is still okay with trial and error, but the product has definitely changed.
