CHI 1875 Series Advanced Ionic Compact Hair Dryer, 16 Oz

I recently splurged on this dryer after having a really bad experience with a cheap Revlon one. I actually had a chance to hold it and preview it at Ulta, but shocked that it was double in price. So I made my Amazon purchase right in their store! Great hairdryer, lightweight, but has substance so there is a little way to it. It’s really powerful in my opinion with a couple speeds. There’s a blue light right on your hair as it’s drying overall I’m really happy how easy it is to use. Noise is not unpleasant. Above Average air flow and power. Average length of my previous dryers. Really happy with it out of the box plus Chi tools have always been great quality imo.

I have very thick hair and it has cut my dry time almost in half and has lots of power but doesn't tangle your hair. It is very light weight and easy to use. And is not very loud. And leave your hair soft and minimum frizz. Only thing is that it could use a longer cord

I've only had this a few weeks but I love it. It doesn't get extremely hot but apparently it doesn't need to. It somehow dries my hair in about 90 seconds (I'm a man and I have short hair) when it usually takes a few minutes. Also my hair is softer and less parched when I'm done. Great quality, great value, easy to use, comfortable to hold, compact size is a plus. Speedy. No smell.

My wife likes this. It’s a good quality and not to noisy. It’s got a good smaller design and dries her hair. The attachments she doesn’t use a lot but seem durable. And it was cheaper on Amazon than at any other store we looked at.

I love the size and weight of this hairdryer. It also has a blue light that comes on which kills bacteria. For my hair, which is long and thick, it could be a little bit more powerful, but it dries my hair nicely, so all in all, it is a nice unit and I am glad I bought it and I would buy it again.

Worth the price! Done the weird knock offs. OG Chi wins again. It’s the perfect size and blows flawlessly. I didn’t think you could even like a hairdryer so much.Fits well in your hand for ease and comfort when using. It’s not awkward at all, I have very long hair so this is important. It’s drys amazingly quick, so I don’t dread drying my hair anymore!And the color- wow and extra cherry on top. It’s oddly beautiful (not that, that matters). 10/10

I bought this hair dryer in July 2024, and I waited 6 months to give this review. I wanted to give folks some reliable feedback.I wash my hair every other day, and I always blow dry it. As you can see from the pics, I have shoulder length hair. What you may not tell, it it's also thick. Today, I timed how long it took to dry my hair: 6 minutes total. The Chi Advanced cut the time in half and my hair came out smooth and shiny.I firmly believe Chi Advanced 1875 is a step above. I am so happy with it! Here's why:1) The nozzle where the air comes out is shorter in length, so it's easier for me to handle. Because it's closer to my head, I have better control.2) It's smaller and lighter in weight, so it doesn't tire out my arm. That's a big deal for me because I have a weak wrist from carpal tunnel syndrome.3) It also comes with a secure wraparound Velcro tie, so you can neatly store the cord.4) The power cord is long. This comes in handy when I travel and the outlet in the hotel bathroom is being used by someone else. I can take it into the bedroom area and due to the longer cord, I'm able to reach a mirror that's further away.Yes, it's pricey. But it's 100%++ worth it. If you're on the fence or want to splurge, GET IT! Now that I know what it can do, I would not hesitate to pay full price. Trust me, you won't regret the investment. ☺️

I realize this is a dramatic statement to make about a hair dryer. But using it for the first time was kind of life-changing. Apparently I've been settling in life, using some low budget, random drugstore hair dryer for so many years. There's a noticeable difference in results and I love the attachments it comes with (I have naturally curly hair but straighten it often). The settings on this are fantastic in design, and allow you to find a sweet spot depending on how much time you have or for your hair type. I've used a CHI brand straightener for probably two decades now and would never stray from this brand on their straightener product-- Why did it take me so long to convert on the hair dryer !? Lesson learned, from now on, I'm questioning what I am settling for in everything I touch/use daily! :-) Highly recommend
