Hydraulic filters may look the same and have the correct gasket and thread to fit your application, but that does not mean the filter is the correct one!This filter is set up for flow from the center and out the outer annulus, see image. My MF1533 is flow into the outer annulus and exits the center. You can look inside the center hole and see the paper pleats on this filter without the support screen. That means the center is the inlet side. If your filter has the perforated metal screen in the center hole, then you have a flow from outer-to-center.AGCOCORP.com has a good filter application list.
