If you are an audiophile, this is the phone with a headphone jack and "Quad DAC" for you
This is a larger phone, with a nice screen, good battery life and good cameras (four of them). The screen has a "notch" in the top like the newer iPhone, so watching a full screen video will be cut off by the notch. Internal speakers are OK, phone calls are nice and loud. Screen is curved on edges, so a glass screen protector will not wrap around, and the versions that do wrap around only adhere on the edges. I bought these: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07S3SP8PL/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1, and the fit the screen perfectly, no bubbles, but they are not glass just plastic scratch protection, and can get little dents from fingernails, which can be brushed out. Get a drop proof case for this. With the case the phone is a little heavy. Hardware is fast and not much bloatware was included. It comes in a version with a case that has a second screen, which is a different model than this one. This is an unlocked Sprint phone, and using it with T-Mobile the phone kept trying to install Sprint software. A call to T-Mobile fixed that, the activated it for their service and the Sprint software stopped installing. As for the sound quality, even using high end Grado phones this phone delivers great sound, balanced, powerful and accurate. It has a software equalizer and DTX:3 3D sound for the speakers. This phone is best from the headphone jack, plugged in the "Hi-Fi Quad DAC" activates. It has digital sound presets (mine is set to "Normal"), Digital Filters (mine is set to "Slow" as it seems most accurate), and left and right channel balance dials, so you can tune in the best sound for your headphones. I have a number of high end headphones amps and this phone gets close to the sound quality of an external portable amp, just missing the "speaker effect" the best amps can achieve. Plus it has plenty of power to drive less sensitive larger headphones. Paired with the Poweramp app this phone is hard to beat for sound quality for music through the headphone jack.

Good phone, works well, I have it on Google Fi
(note: pictures taken with LG phone)I have had the LG V30, the V40, and now I just got the V50 finally. I do really like these phones, too bad LG did away with that second screen that was on the V30 though, that was nice. So I have the phone running on Google Fi and so far so good, no problems. Calls work fine, messages send and receive, picture messages work. I haven't had a voicemail yet or tried wifi calling, although was prompted to set up wifi calling and that went fine and seemed like it was ready to go. I would definitely recommend this phone, it's very customizable and doesn't have all that bloatware crap that's on all the Samsung phones. LG treats their users like they are smart enough to operate the phone, unlike Samsung that shoves everything in your face like you're a 5 year old that cant handle navigating a smartphone. The battery is improved from previous models and lasts throughout the day and even into the next depending on use. The camera is great, the V40 had the three camera lenses before iPhone ever did it and they have improved it and brought that to this phone as well. It's all-around a well-put-together, solid phone. My v40 lasted me almost 3 years and still works good, except the battery is starting to wear out recently. I'm including some pics I took with the phone as an example of the camera quality.

Phone is superb just didnt work in my country :(
This phone is ridiculously underrated. I had one before and the screen cracked so needed another one. I read a few reviews and most people had good things to say about the overall experience, in particular someone from South Africa said the device worked fine on our networks (Vodacom for me). This prompted me to go ahead with the purchase. However after it had arrived, I tried a few times to set it up, resetting Network settings etc. LG South Africa and Vodacom could also not assist so I had to return it. What makes it worse is that I had to pay for the shipping costs as well.Like I said, the phone is flipping amazing for the price so go out and get it but make sure it works in your region/country first!
