Shelf Life Not So Good (~ 4 years old batteries)
Renata makes a great battery. Silver Oxide batteries should have a shelf life of up to 5 years (according to Renata). If the batteries I received have expiration dates of 12/2022, and this is 09/21, they were likely produced in 12/2017 and are at least 43 months old or about 25% of the usable shelf life. All I can say is buy with caution and ask first. I trusted the feedback to make sure they were likely fresh. Not so. That said, the other batteries ordered at the same time had a 2025 expiration date. So, I would say this is a seller issue.
