I used the socks preparing for the Camino de Santiago. I could not have been more impressed. We had to walk theough a creek which I thought would give me blisters. Nothing. I’m at 200 miles and don’t expect the socks to last as long as some of the other more expensive brands. I’m considering Darn Tough because of their warranty. I walk around 35 miles per week

I'm a merino sock connoisseur; I own them all: Smartwool, Darn Tough, Point6, Ice Breaker, Fox River, Eddie Bauer etc. Although I prefer the finer brands: [Ice Breaker's anatomical - is unbeatable with arch compression you can feel] Fox River and Darn Tough all make nicely constructed socks that is noticed, however at a premium price point. Since merino isn't as durable as synthetic thread, I'm also frequently trying out unknown brand names, priced at half.I have permanent neuropathy in my feet, which requires lifelong medication from a serious back injury. I cannot tolerate being barefoot which means socks 24/7, and the only socks I can tolerate wearing are merino wool. The cost adds up quickly, which is why I try out less expensive brands.This sock is nothing short than PHENOMENAL! From the initial presentation (gift boxed), to the thickness with compression in a hiking sock - which is frankly unheard of! I bought another set today, simply because I know this price won't last very long. I fear once they get more recognition the price will climb, or worse [like other brands] the quality will tank (eg Sm***wool). You won't be sorry if you buy these, unless you don't like a really thick sock. The quality is undeniable.

Loved these socks so much. They fit perfectly, they were padded in the right spots, they kept my feet cool and dry. Everything they said they would do they did. I used them during a hiking trip, but honestly I am going to wear them at work now too. 10 out of 10 purchase.

Like my merino hoodies and mid-weight long sleeve shirts that I have, the socks are outstanding. No pilling, no shrinkage, and minimal loss of bulk after a year of machine washing! Meriwool, from my long term use and abuse, might be the pinnacle of affordable merino garments! Keep up the good work and thanks for great products!

Ever bought something and new it was top quality before you ever put it on? That is Meriwool's whole line up.I did some cold weather testing for work and needed some new first layer stuff. I'm a desert rat, grew up in the Sonora desert, cold to us is 50F, I thought going to 10 below was going to be rough for me. I wanted something like this to protect my warm weather body. I was not disappointed. Well made, very comfortable and not bulky, at all. Made spending time in snow up to my arse enjoyable.

We love these socks. These are the second bundle of meriwool's that I've bought, this time for my husband. He loves his new socks for the cold Canadian winters as much as I do. A fantastic purchase!

socks are too thick

These socks impressed me. Warm yet cool when they need to be. Amazed!

Love these socks. Looked at many different products before I purchased these. I chose these as looking at the pictures and reviews they appeared to be slightly higher than most other products which I needed as my boots are taller military boots. I also liked the design. On arrival you can see they are good quality straight away, really comfortable, good height and thickness. Have given me all day comfort at work where I am on my feet all day. Will buy more in the future.
