It may not look like it will fit but it really expands
Very Comfortable - I really didn't think it would fit me I am a plus size girl. I took my time pulled it up as far as you can and just slowly inch it up over your back end. One it was on it was great. Practice pulling it up and down so when you wear it and have to go to the washroom you wont be struggling. I found it really comfortable and wore it all day the first day. I needed this for a wedding to make my outfit look slimmer/smoother and it does.

Surprisingly Great!
I took a chance when I ordered these because I have never heard of this brand and have always been a Spanx girl. These fit well and are not uncomfortable. Like any type of shapewear, they can be hard to keep on after 12 hours, but these are definitely more comfortable than Spanx overall. There is no struggle to put them on or take them off. And the price is nice. I've ordered two pairs already.

Perfect after one modification
I love everything about these except the 4 plastic pieces sewn vertically around the top edge. One of the back ones presses right on a nerve and irritates it to pain within an hour. Solution: After confirming the fit, I use a seam ripper to cut a tiny hole in the inside fabric covering of the plastic pieces (just over the end of the plastic so I don’t accidentally cut the garment) then I pop the plastic piece out. It’s 2”x 1/8” and flexible. These were originally sold with no plastic (that version was thicker & better too, no leg roll) and these work just fine without plastic pieces. I’ve had pairs of each for several years and consistent wear. They hold up great!

Possible Merchant Error
Lots of the reviews described the product being too big when ordering the size according to the chart. The shorts fit, but they didn't really provide the support expected. On the advice of a few, I purchased a size xs/s instead of m/l like I normally do.When I looked at the shorts, I thought there was no way that I was going to be able to fit my skinny-squishy 165lb body in those itty-bitty things. But I did. And without much effort at all. They're tight, but they're not snatching my waist like they're supposed to. Everything is smoothed out. No bulges. And I can breathe, but it didn't shape my stomach. My stomach is still pooching out like it did before. There's just smooth flub-blub now instead of multiple flub-blubs and no muffin top (which is nice).I sat down on the bed to see if it was possible to still breathe (it was) and I looked at the package. On the back of the package it says "Plus-size black small" and it now makes sense why I am able to wear it.I'm 5'11. 165lbs. All of my weight is in my stomach, hips, and thighs. I wear a size 10-12 in jeans.Plus-sized clothing is made specifically to accommodate a body type that is beautifully voluptuous. Plus-sized clothing is labeled "16W" or "16 curvy" fur example. The W or curvy indicating that it will fit a fuller figured individual. I know there's not a small in plus-size, but I think I've figured it out nonetheless:I have a friend that wears a size 14 curvy which is another way to tell the shopper that this product is constructed differently from a size 14 regular. The curvy or the W are constructed in a way that allows a fuller figure to settle comfortably unlike the regular that would be far too tight and constricting in the waiste, knees, and calves. Anyway...I checked on Amazon and found a plus-size Shapermint, high waisted shaper shorts that can be purchased in size S-3xl. These shorts are made like the curvy or W to accommodate curves that a woman who wore a regular small would not have. I believe the seller may have accidentally shipped a plus-sized garment when the purchaser wanted a regular rather than plus. And I think that this is why some buyers are talking about sizing down while others are describing being swallowed by a boa constrictor and not being able to breathe, or move, or sit.Maybe if I had a regular small then I'd be complaining about that, too because, trust me, I may be skinny-squishy but I haven't been able to fit into a small anything since 9th grade. And that was 32 years ago. 🤷♀️

OMG this product is amazing!
I don't know how they do it but..... I purchased the size recommended by the size chart and when it came, I thought there is no way this is going to stretch enough to hold everything in. I didn't even think I'd be able to pull it up but, low and behold not only was I able to get it pulled up it held everything in. It was comfortable too. I hadn't worn a dress in years and felt comfortable and confident. Thank you Shapermint. I would not hesitate to buy again.

Great Product Purchase
I love this product. I needed these for a last minute gala. I received them the day before and just prayed they would work. This product worked great. The size was true to size. I got a large. It looked small in the package, but it quickly adjusted to my curvy shape as soon as I put it on and it kept everything tucked in the right places. It does not pinch the legs like some products and was very comfortable to wear. I actually forgot I had put it on. Will definitely buy again.

Comfortable Seamless Shapewear XL, Women's Size 12-14
Comfortable Shapewear, no roll for me. I detest tight clothing, but needed this to wear under a dress for a special occasion. I chose one size bigger for myself -XL- even though I wear women's size 12, thick-waisted, 5'4", 158#. Just enough compression to smooth out my fat roll and comfortable enough to wear under a dress on a hot Texas summer day. I don't plan to wear panties with it, hoping it would offer a more figure-smoothing look. The upper edge easily stretches/reaches to upper end of my torso just under by breast - will wear a (separate) bra with that.
