miYim Plush Stroller Toy, Calvin the Caterpillar (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

I bought this toy because I am trying to go more in the organic direction for my children's toys. I love this little caterpillar and so does my 6 month old. I keep it on her car seat so she has something to play with when we are out and about. She just loves it, it makes her smile and giggle to bat at it, I LOVE whatever jingle bells they put in it, it's not an annoying jingle, very melodic. Since it's made from natural and organic materials I am ok with her chewing on, and it is holding up well so far, despite her best efforts to eat it. I highly recommend it to others.

We purchased this toy a week ago after purchasing the sister product "Horton" and "The Cat In the Hat" Our son adores both of these toys immediately! He can now easily grab them and bring it to his mouth.However, the caterpillar is nice, but lacks the features that I love about the other MiYam toys. The way the legs are designed are absolutely perfect for tiny hands to get a hold of, and the perfect height to grab when hanging from a carseat, stroller or swing handle. But the caterpillar legs are too short and the body too fat for my baby to get a hold of. I love the fact that it's soft muted colors. I don't like my baby getting over stimulated (and cranky as a result) so, so far, we've only given him soft muted colors, and he does very well with them!This toy also has a louder bell type rattle inside. It's actually a very pleasant sound, not annoying at all like some of the other toys we've refused to buy for that reason!I would recommend this for a baby that has a little bigger hands, so maybe a six month old. I would recommend the miYim organic bug toy or the musical owl stroller toy for a baby under 3 months over this caterpiller.

I am trying to keep toxins out of my daughter's mouth so I bought organic. Since she can't stick stroller toys in her mouth, I didn't need this to be organic. The chime it makes really is a better sound than other ringing toys. My daughter loves it when it jingles while we're driving or if I shake it.

This toy is so cute! My little boy loves to shake it and hear the chimes and since he's teething it's also got the cute little feet for him to chew on. The chimes are really nice, not annoying at all. I love that it's organic too.

I love this cute caterpillar myself, but my baby just wasn't that interested in it. I would recommend it in general, as it's very soft, has little dangly legs and a cute bell sound, but for some reason my girl just wasn't into it.

Cute little caterpillar. Nice, pleasing colors. Baby is not disturbed by it, but is too young to really be able to see it. Seems to be well made. Good size. Shipped fast. No hassle.

This toy has proven to be a good find. It is organic, so I don't have to worry about it going into my baby's mouth. It is also versitile, in that it can go on the car seat or on baby's play mat as well as the stroller. It is baby finger friendly, in that there are many different places to grab. My baby also likes the fact that he can bring the toy to his face.
