I want to live here
I was blown away and when through the full gambit of emotions here. Noah, Liam, Killian, and Zak are beautiful together. Such a great job was done exploring a poly relationship and the knowledge it wouldn't be popular but was worth the fight. She explored the fragile nature of putting your heart on the line, of want someone to choose to stay so giving the tools they need to free to make the choice. The power in this book is the depth of feeling and the raw genuine truth that ran over on every page. This author did such an awesome job bringing to life the struggle to make the hardest step, to talk, once some tragedy has wreaked havoc on your life. She did such of good job of making us feel the struggle with coming back from guilt, even misplaced guilt, and rebuilding the broken pieces. All of them struggled with this at some point and I could feel each moment and the strength to overcome.Liam is a fighter, Killian the caretaker, Zak the heart and Noah who seeks to understand and comfort. This book was a rollercoaster of emotion and I was almost heartbroken the story came to a close. I rarely give a book this high of a mark but I finished this book through Kindle unlimited and then went and bought it so I go back here whenever I need a boost. I finished this book feeling wrecked and refreshed and I love it.

Well written and unique!
I truly appreciated the multi-character POV’s. Each full of guilt, desperation, love and sass. I actually enjoyed this story even more than I initially thought I would. For a fairly short book, each of the characters was very well developed and I found myself speeding through it in record time. Definitely recommend the read!!

Four Ever
Killian, Zak, Liam, and NoahThis was an emotional story. Gosh I just wanted to give Noah the biggest hug ever. This was such a sweet story of these four finding themselves and each other. Something they needed. They really completed each other. Good story.

Complicated is an Understatement
Killian and Zak are long time partners who are deeply in love, but are badly broken. Liam and Noah love each other deeply, but under the guise of brothers, who are in a bad situation they can't get out of. Zak's habit of bring home stray animals crosses over into people when Liam is badly beaten, and Noah is inconsolable and refusing to leave his side for even a minute. With Liam and Noah staying at the house, Killian and Zak are communicating even less than before, and it seems like no one is able to talk about the emotions and feelings each is being plagued with. Except for Noah, who just can't talk, he hardly makes a sound. But it's Noah who is the bravest out of the four. They have to navigate the gauntlet in their existing relationships, as well as this new one that is forming between them.I'm a Kennedy fan, and I had heard so much about this book I was excited for it. But then I started it and I found myself not excited, and I was easily distracted by other life things. I was having a hard time getting into the story, which is not normal for me, especially with this author. But I kept reading, and it was all worth it. The underlying issue, rusting your partner with your fears and failings, is something everyone can relate to, no matter what type of relationship they are in. That is what makes this book so powerful, because (** SPOILER ALERT **) all four of them start talking about their past problems, it happens again at the end of the book, and could have really crushed them all (** END ALERT **). So if you have tried to read this book, or thinking about it, and you are somehow reading my review, just give it a chance and you will be as attached to it as I am now.

Four Ever
What a sweet story! I enjoyed this story so much, and though I wanted to bang their heads together and scream at them to open their mouths and TALK to each other, their lack of communication felt real, not contrived. I borrowed via KU, but I finished it and went straight to Amazon and bought it!

Cry Babies
Every single one of the MCs is a crybaby and I love it lol I enjoyed this story. It was a slowish burn yet super sweet. The spice level would be considered medium (i think?) The only real problem I had with the book was that it was very heavy on the narration/inner monologue of the characters. Super little communication so it almost felt like it was dragging on, even though it’s so short.

Interesting story, but beware of tired tropes
Zak and Killian have been together for seven years, and are deeply in love with each other, but the last few years have been tough, with each of them feeling guilt over wrongs they think they've inflicted on their partner, but unable to talk it through. The two are still devoted to the ragtag menagerie of rescued animals they've collected over the years. However, when nurse Zak brings home a mute homeless young man from the hospital, who is shortly joined by his injured step-brother, the dynamic of their relationship seems to change.“Four Ever” is about four troubled men who somehow find comfort in each other. It's an unusual story of the start of an unconventional relationship. It's so unconventional that it even scares all four of the people involved. Killian, Zak, Noah and Liam all come across as very real people, and each has their own unique story to tell about how they arrived at the point where all four of them meet.Zak and Killian are at the center of the story. They're the ones with a mature if slightly shaky relationship. Exactly why they're having communication problems takes a while to come out. Frankly, the constant allusion to “things” they did that they feel guilty about but can't discuss got a little annoying before the details finally emerged about halfway in. I'm also finding the “men can't talk about their feelings” trope a little over-used and tiresome.Liam and Noah are the younger men that are potential cuckoos in the nest. Unlike the other two, it's not that hard to guess at how the two ended up in their current situation, although some of the details are a bit harrowing when they finally come out. You'll definitely want to heed the trigger warnings for this book if you're a sensitive reader.

Amazing
I went Into this hesitant, the main couple was on the brink of breaking up. And 2 new men come into the picture, it's hard to get that dynamic right. But this author does it amazing!! Good story good spice I will be buying a hard copy for myself!

Simply Amazing
This book came to prove me wrong on some of my previous assumptions, as I always thought a single standalone volume book would never be enough to explain deeply each of the characters when the plot was about a Foursome.I always had the impression, based on previous experiences, that one or even more of them would always remain shallow or left behind like a spare wheel. This book is splendid, the writing is deep, but it’s straightforward and crystal clear is every single aspect of this relationship. It brings an unconventional male foursome but completely filled with the same aspects every single stable and strong relationship should have, such as passion, thrusting, reliability, unconditional love, companionship, friendship and an adorable sense of belonging.Based on the same experiences I had, I was concerned when, not only the complexity of each of the personalities had but the drama that their past brought, started to unleash. Everything was so complex and deep, I thought there would not be pages enough to clarify and mend all the shattered pieces they had.I had the fear that everything could be poorly explained and would leave that terrible taste in my mouth that everyone that read a shallow book had the displeasure of experience. But, thanks to the impeccable talent of the author, everything was explained in details.Need to mention that there are absolutely no “insta/you better believe” feelings happening here either as you can see the feelings blossom right in front of your eyes.Thumbs up and hands down one of the best books I read lately.

I loved this book so much❣️❣️❣️❣️
I loved this book so much❣️❣️❣️❣️I'm a big fan of poly relationships in any constellation but lately I was specifically searching for a good foursome relationship that isn't (Reverse) Harem. It doesn't surprise me that Sloane Kennedy had written that kind of story. I read a lot of her books in 2022 and she's one of my favorite authors now especially when it comes to gay love books. Of course Four Ever didn't disappointed. The chemistry between the characters was soooo good. Like at the beginning you had those 2 couples both loving and caring for each other but lacking something. Their relationship development was amazing. Really each character connected beautifully with all the other boys on their own. In the end you could only see them as one unit. It wouldn't be possible for them to be separate. Besides their amazingly written chemistry each character on it's own is lovely. My heart is especially aching for Noah. His story really broke me and I wouldn't have guessed it to be so disturbing. But also sweet Liam who gave up a lot for protecting Noah while having his own sad upcoming. Then we have Zak(the spelling of his name triggers me a bit but I accept it for him being a babe) who empathizes with every human or animal that needs help. He's a cutie. You just want to cuddle him close to you and never let him go. And then there is Killian. Fell in love with him right away. He might be a bit grumpy but also realistic, non judgemental and driven by a lot of guilt. He's suffering so much and is in need of all three of the men. A loyal soul as you can finde one with a super big heart.I appreciated this book very much and it shows how beautiful a poly relationship can be.Hope Sloane Kennedy thinks about writing another because she really never disappoints.💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

An amazing, emotional read
From as soon as I saw about this book before it’s release I was excited about it. From the beginning of the book I felt emotionally invested in all of the characters.Zak and Killian have been together for 7 years and their relationship is strained and frayed.Liam and Noah are stepbrothers who feel more for each other that they haven’t yet admitted.Zak brings Liam and Noah home with him and the feelings of all four men start to bubble to the surface. Underlying problems from the past cause pain for all of them men. Will they see that the way forward is with the four of them together? Or will they separate and go their own ways?I was in tears at some parts of this book. I knew that Noah’s story was going to be heartbreaking and it was even more so than I could have imagined. Killian’s struggles were also difficult, as were the feelings of Zak and Liam as they supported their men. A must read.

Absolutely brilliant - an inspiring and beautiful read!
This was out of this world good! I was completely spellbound from the very start - the writing style was engaging, the way the book split up perfectly done to give us the background of each character, and the alternating POVs provided perfect character depth. This is my first book by this author, but I have never read anything like this before, and want to read more! The way the relationship between the 4 of them was set up was beautifully done - it wasn't just 2 separate couples, they came together as a foursome.I fell in love with every single one of the characters! We meet Killian and Zak first, watching them try to get past their issues but also not opening up to each other for fear of upsetting the other further. They can see a divide in their relationship, and neither wants to walk away, but don't know what to do to bridge the gap. We then meet Liam and Noah when Liam is admitted into the ER where Zak works. While Liam is being unconscious and being treated, Noah doesn't cope, and being mute and suffering from anxieties as well, he can't communicate with strangers. Zak manages to convince him to come home with him to be somewhere safe until Liam wakes. Noah then gets sick so when Liam wakes and freaks out about Noah, who he has been protecting for years, being gone, he ends up at Zak and Killian's house too. What ensues is an amazing story of 4 broken people finding their missing pieces in each other. While Zak and Killian begin to open up fully to each other, it is only because of Liam and Noah that they do, so their rekindled relationship is intertwined with Liam and Noah. Similarly, the stepbrothers finally admit their feelings for each other, but again, that only occurs due to their developing friendship with Zak and Killian, and those feelings develop into more as they are now linked with their love for each other. The chemistry between all 4 of them - every combination - was palpable, and the intimate scenes were scorching hot but also full of love and compassion.I loved that no part of this story was rushed, and that we had a realistic outcome for each and every character. There was no quick fix, and the struggles they had at the start of the story were still there, but being managed and supported now it was all out in the open.An inspiring and beautiful read - one I would highly recommend.
