Programmable Drip Coffee Maker with Auto Shut-off - 10 Cup by BOSCARE

The coffee maker is great if you want to wake up to a pot of coffee. I moved through several methods of brewing this year of quarantine (Keurig, AeroPress, steel pour over cones, and now this). The coffee maker is light to handle and cleaning the basket is easy. I’m able to pour without spilling (little thing that you need to know, right?).GOOD:-Reliable, easy to use, simple-Lightweight-Easy to clean-Programmable-Strength setting is a nice option. I always brew 10 “cups” of water to 9 rounded scoops of medium or dark roast on strong setting. This is the flavor I prefer (strong, slightly acidic, full flavor, especially soon after brewing).NOT SO GOOD:-The digital clock falls back about 2-3 minutes a day and I have no idea why. It’s easy to fix, but it’s just weird.-If you care, the clock is 24-hour time (2:00pm is 14:00). But most times you make coffee are in the morning, and it doesn’t matter, right?!Great price, reliably good coffee. Never heard of the brand but I gave it a shot and it’s been making great coffee every single morning for five months now. Love it for the convenience of programming most of all.

I needed to replace my coffee maker & I looked for weeks, read countless reviews before deciding on this purchase.The coffee pot is well designed, doesn’t drip at all while pouring.The coffee stays really hot , no need to microwave it.I’ve used both regular & stronger brew settings. We like our coffee strong & found the strong setting very bold.I’ve always used paper filters with the plastic filter provided with no issues.The control panel is very sensitive, just a gentle touch to turn on the machine.Very simple to change time on clock . Clock setting is military time only.The machine is very lightweight & and takes up little counter space.So far I’m happy with this purchase for the money spent.I would recommend this item.

The positives: It has a small footprint on the counter; something important to us. The machine is as simple to operate as you can get. And the coffee tastes very good. (However, most coffee makers taste just fine. They all drip the same coffee.)The negatives: First, although the maker is billed as a 10-cup coffee maker and the carafe shows a 10-cup marking, the fact is it can only make about 9-cups. If you attempt to fill a full 10-cups of water into the maker, about a cup will begin to flow through the overflow hole in the back of the unit. I learned this the hard way when I discovered a pool of water on my counter. Either the overflow hole should have been placed higher, or it was advertised incorrectly. Second, the clock is only in a 24-hour format. Yes, I can translate a 24-hour clock into standard time, but why should I have to? In this day and age, it should have been a simple matter to allow the programing of the clock for your desired format.

I do not recommend this coffee maker. It worked fine for a year but now it fails to auto shutoff and stays on even when you press the power button to off. This presents a fire hazard and safety risk!

The media could not be loaded. I've been using this coffeepot less than two weeks and am already having problems. It brews coffee just fine, and it's hot, just like I like it. But . . . The lid does not click shut completely, never has. The clock flickers, which is very annoying, this just started a couple days ago. When brewing, the clock flickers and so does the red brewing light. (See video.) When the brewing stops, the red light disappears, so I don't know if the stay warm, automatic shut off is working or not, so I unplug it. Then I have to reset the clock, but after a short time, it starts flickering again. I guess all of this has no affect on the actual brewing of coffee, but I paid for all these extras, and at $50 plus tax, everything should work! I could buy a $15 Mr. Coffee if I just wanted a cheap pot that brews coffee. It's just been a couple weeks - what happens after a couple months? The pot looks great and is easy to clean. I use #4 disposal filter, not the reusable one it came with. I will probably return this coffeepot, or request a different one, as I'm afraid something else will go wrong after the return date has expired.

I have been using a Keurig for years, but when it finally crapped out on me I wanted something more environmentally friendly - I was actually cleaning the coffee grounds out of the plastic k-cups so I could recycle them and it was driving me crazy. I kept looking at coffee makers around Black Friday and finally my husband gave me this as an early Christmas present because he was afraid I would buy one.I LOVE IT! I use Meijer Select House Blend coffee and it is delicious - I don't usually drink coffee black, but it makes it so smooth I have been. I love the reusable filter - it's easy to clean and perfect for the environment. You can set it at night and it's ready in the morning. Super easy to use, I'm so glad he picked Boscare.

The most important feature for me is the temperature of the coffee. The temperature of the coffee is very hot, which makes for an excellent brew. The controls are simple, but adequate with all that is necessary to brew coffee. The strength feature is interesting, not sure if it really works, but the strength of the coffee is fine at strong. I really use the amount of coffee to get the right strength. There should be a choice for a 12 hour clock. This is a great value for the money, but it is also one of the best coffee makers I've ever owned, even costing more that double.

Bought a this CoffeeMaker to replace an older, more expensive well-known brand. Works great, compact so it doesn't take up too much space, and the strength option makes a strong cup.Washable filter is very easy to clean, and much more convenient than the traditional paper filters that we used to use. We drink our coffee black, and can tell the difference with the new filter. Looks great... digital, stainless steel and modern to match the rest of our appliances. Pot has a wide mouth making it really easy to clean.Great function, easy to use, makes great coffee!
