I used this to “seal” the edges of a rug that I cut out a rectangle of for an electrical outlet. This was a custom cut rug so I was apprehensive, but this worked like a charm and was extremely easy and quick to use.

I used this product on my granddaughter's nylon winter coat that was torn in several places. I placed it on the tear before I mended it, then applied after. No problem and it looks good, still holding up.

I had heard about this stuff from people who make their own patches and I was optimistic but skeptical. Y'all, if you haven't tried Fray Check yet, do it. I've used it on backpack straps, denim, ribbon, bias tape, that synthetic stuff that pretends to be denim, knit fabrics, that other synthetic stuff that pretends to be silk/satin, various polyester and cotton blends, it always works and it's well worth the money. I bought a 2 pack after trying this single bottle. It doesn't run out as fast as you might think, being so small. It doesn't take much. It does leave a stiffness to the treated fabric but I used this on ends of half-fingered gloves and I was worried it would be uncomfortable on my hands - it's not. I don't even notice it. Great product, will buy again and again.
