It’s a no…after a year and a half
We bought this exclusively for getting stuff into the roof rack of our SUV. It’s small, lightweight, and holds 300 lbs. We didn’t have an issue for a year and a half. I would have given it 5 stars up until today. But today I just used it to load the SUV and saw it buckling under my 240 lbs. And I’m almost 50, so I don’t need a fall onto concrete from a high step stool. We’re retiring it and looking for an all-metal version.

Pretty happy with it!
Light weight, folds easily, useful. I wish it was a bit sturdier- maybe could use some more rubber on bottom feet. I check twice before it step on it do to that factor. But pretty happy overall.

Leg not that sturdy
Loved the height of this but like all of these folding stools, one of its legs bent...

nice size, folds up
Perfect size to do what we need it to do (kind of like a little table). We're not really using it as a step stool, but do have shorter ones that work well for that. Quality is good, it folds up nicely, quickly, and easily, which is helpful for storage purposes. The handle is convenient as well.

Better than expected, and great price!
It's very sturdy, folds up flat. Lightweight. I bought it for my youngest kid so she can reach and do all the things that her big sisters can. It's non-slip, and taller than most step stools of this design. And I can use it too if I ever needed to, as it holds up to 300 lbs.

OK, but not very sturdy ... and eventually broke down
I was looking for a step/sit stool that was a little taller than most -- something more than 8-10" like many other stools similar to this. In that regard, this stool fits the bill, 16" is a good size for what I wanted.Unfortunately it's not very sturdy; the plastic is somewhat thin, which is why it's lightweight, but it's pretty wobbly if you stand on it. It's OK for sitting (e.g. if you're a taller person), which is part of why I wanted it, but if you're looking for something rugged you can climb on, this is probably not a good stool for you.Pluses: it folds and unfolds easily, the carry handle cutout is convenient, the top surface has a pretty good rubber-style tread, so it grips pretty well and isn't slippery.I just wish it was somewhat thicker and sturdier -- the product page says "Holds Up to 300 Pounds" but that seems risky to me.... Updated: the stool finally gave out and broke down while I was sitting on it, hinges failed, it basically folded in on itself. So I can say with good confidence that it does *not* hold "Up to 300 Pounds".Changing to 1 star, unfortunately. Does not work as claimed.

Easy to use and lightweight
What can I say about a stool that folds up easily and slides into narrow space? It works. This is my second one and I can reach the upper cabinet shelves. It does what it needs to do for me. Not flimsy at all. I am 5' 6" and 132 lbs.

Step
We bought this to use on our boat, but it broke within a month. It got such great reviews that is the reason why we purchased it. The heaviest person that stepped on it weighted less than 200 pounds.

Solid construction
I use these foot stools on photography jobs top to easily get me higher in crowded situations .. This product seems better made and more stable than others I've bought of this style which with not much use become flimsy and unreliable.
