2012 Camaro RS
We installed this on our sons 2012 Camaro RS and it works as advertised. The instal is not bad if you can do small maintenance on your own. The installation is straight forward and plug and play. It has been working for the last 10 months with no issues.

Easy install, low price and so worth it.
Would've given 5 stars for how easy it was to install because it was right above the passenger side fog light if you can reach your arm up under the bumper fascia. But you can do it while changing the fog lights. It didn't tell me while ordering it nor on any directions which weren't given to me, I had to look it up. But once was figured out it was super easy and worked fantastically. My daytime running lights are on all the time now so when my headlights come on and they're supposed to turn off they stay on as fog lights. And with bright led's they are great.

Help with your install
Works just as expected. Directions aren't as clear as they could be though. It says feel for the wire on the passenger fog light/DRL and then follow it back to find the harness. You don't follow it back towards the cabin of the car, you follow it up towards the hood. The harness sits right below the headlight, in the part of the bumper that sticks out under the grill. The harness is attached to a mounting bracket and you have to press in on the bottom (pretty hard) and pull backwards to unplug it.This is one of those jobs that took me half an hour the first time but if I had to do it again it would take 5 minutes. This is the only decent video I found and it's not great. Skip to 2:30, it's the only time he shows where the harness gets installed.Search you tube for -- 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS DRL Harness and LED Bulb Install

Only ONE Harness Needed and is on the PASSENGER SIDE!
Great product, super easy to install, but start on the PASSENGER side, that's where the harness is! Then swap the bulbs on each side if you're upgrading those too.

Easy to install, exactly what I expected in operation mode.
Easy as can be. Jack up the passenger side front of the car. Put a jack stand behind the tire. Crawl under the passenger side front of the car with a flashlight and look up and you will see a purple adapter, towards the front of the bumper. Unplug it, plug the harness in-between and make sure it clicks. I had to push hard to get it to click.Operation:1) Upon starting the car, auto lights (where your fog lights/DRL were on by themselves) - ALL lights are on - Fog / Halo / HID2) One click to the right (usually only halos) - Halos / Fog Lights3) One more click to the right (usually halo & HID) - Again, Fog / Halo / HIDSo, auto lights is the same as when you would have your headlights on. There is no more "just fog lights".You basically end up with Halo & Fog, or all 3 at the same time.Exactly what I wanted, easy to install. Just jack up the front of the car because you cannot get to it ANY other way unless your body is 6 inches thick!
