It may not look like much, but if you love to use freshly ginger in your cooking or want to make Japanese Oroshi Daikon, this is the best!

I like that the grater is used in the steady horizontal position and that the container collects the grated food. I hand wash it and it is easy to clean. I like using the grater for garlic, ginger, and hard cheese, where you want a fine grate. It was difficult to grate carrots on it and I ended up with more of a carrot pulp.

I dreaded doing the daikon shavings. Took a chance on this inexpensive shaver and Im in heaven. So simple and easy. Normally takes me a good hour of stop and go but with this 10 minutes and done.

This devise is carefully designed to grate vegetables. The surface design is good, and also, while grating something, the devise does not wiggle or slide on a counter. It is simply great.

This is the best daikon grater I've ever owned. Design is perfect; easy to use and clean and sturdy yet light. Don't be distracted by beautiful ceramic graters which can be difficult to use and is breakable. Buy this one!

This is the easiest and most wonderful to grate ginger and daikon. I especially like the anti slip discs at the bottom of the grater, a wonderful safety feature. Very well constructed and should last for many years !

I really like the non-skid pads under the grater. I had a grater without that feature and ended up grating my knuckles because it slipped.It is also lightweight and easy to wash. I was worried it would be difficult to wash but I was wrong.
