I can't see room for improvement
This is one of the better ballasts on the market, runs very cool, the fan seems reliable from use, and the ballast is....curiously cheap? I'm not sure why they sell it at the price point they do for the excellent build quality. The dimmer is great, it's not too loud for the temperature it keeps it at(ice cold), and it's oddly small for what it accomplishes. Other manufacturers should perhaps take note. I can't see anywhere to improve upon this product currently. I am utilizing it in a sheltered outdoor setting for a variety of ornamentals and it hasn't died from mild humidity exposure unlike many. It will support both HPS and metal halide bulbs.

Coolest running ballast I've had.
This ballast was less expensive and runs way cooler than others I've purchased. In fact, I believe this might be the coolest running ballast I've had so far.
