Dobyns Rods Champion XP Series

My 7th Dobyns rod. Fury was great, Sierra even better. The champion is unbelievable! Quality supreme! I want to order another champion tonight but I cant seem to find the vendor who sold me this one at the great price I got! The review that said Dobyns is Chinese garbage does not know the tight quality control Gary Dobyns keeps on his rods. You won't find a better rod under 500 dollars.

I love the sensitivity of the rod. When I hooked into a 7lb bass I noticed the great feel and strength of the rod. Also this rod weighs nothing, it is so so light yet strong and sensitive. I also have really noticed the ease of long casts and the ability to put your lure right where you want. These rods are built for excellence!!! There is one thing I would maybe fix with the 7’-3” Champion XP rod I bought and that would be to allow a little more room for the cleats of my reel to fit a little more thorough. Because mine don’t seem to fit all the way in, but it does hold so far. Other than that you can’t go wrong with the purchase of this rod!!!! Pure Excellence!!!!

These rods are very sensitive when using lures but more important to me is the “Action”. The way these rods bend when catching fish is second to none. I’ve fished for over thirty years I have several g loomis rods (which I like) and I like these Dobyn’s rods better.

Excellent chatterbait rod. Use a side sweeping hookset and this rod will keep them pinned with its' parabolic action.Because it's a Heavy action glass rod, I was worried it may feel heavy. To my surprise, it's about as heavy as my GLX flippin stick.My only complaint is with the cork quality as there is a LOT of filler in the handle of the one I got.

Fantastic rod!! Very forgiving on fish hooked with treble hook baits; especially crankbaits. I boated a couple of fish last weekend that were barely hooked, which I feel quite sure would have shaked loose with a less forgiving rod. The parabolic bend of the rod really launched lightweight cranks too. Love the rod!! Price was good and the seller was great. Very fast shipping

Here's what I received from amazon. An 8 foot fishing pole snapped in half and put in a 6.5 ft box. It had to be broken when it was put into the box ot it wouldn't of fit. Still blowing my mind.

Absolutely love this rod. I have three baitcaster rods and this is by for my favorite one. First time using it I caught 10 Bass. Using swim baits, big jigs, crank baits. Didn’t matter. So sensitive. Shipped in a big tube with bubble wrap. Again amazing rod.

This is absolutely unacceptable how little Amazon is starting to care about quality control!! This is my second purchase back to back where the item I purchase and what gets delivered is two completely different things! After spending almost $230 on this rod and waiting a week for arrival I get a package from amazing that has a 6 foot painters extension pole in it!!
