Comfort Axis Calculi Strainer - Kidney Stone Collector, 10 Pack

I had a large kidney stone that needed to be broken up. The hospital gave me these flimsy disposable strainers. I was like those are not going to hold up and went looking for something better. These are far easier to use and you can clean them out so you don’t have a paper strainer covered in bodily fluid. Not that ai want to recommend these but they are worth the money.

Gets the job done. Fit snugly into top opening of urinal which made one handed use easier.

I got kidney stones again and this time I was sent home with a pain med prescription and this strainer. I have a two story house and wanted more strainers. These were identical to the strainer I got at the hospital. About a month later, the meds devolved the stone and it was like catching a sneeze. They worked great and I'd buy them again. I haven't found anything better. Good luck.

Ok for straining many different things.

The hospital gave me a paper one to reuse until I ordered these! After the paper one fell apart within the first 16 hours, I had to use a kitchen strainer, which I had to throw away. The holes were too big, but the stone hadn’t passed. I got these the day after I ordered them, thank goodness! They got the job done, made the catch and worked out perfect. Not sure why hospitals don’t hand these out instead!

If you are a poor soul with a kidney stone, this works great since the doctor's office just hands out paper filters that become nasty beyond a day. I used this device for over a week and it captured the resulting pieces once the stone was broken up with a laser.Then I threw it away since I don't want to be reminded of that terrible period in my life. Hopefully I'll never need another one nor see that Urologist ever!

Typical strainer for catching kidney stones.

Diagnosed with my second kidney stone - and told to use a filter to catch the stone when I pass it. The hospital gave me some wimpy paper filters with a small screen on the bottom - but they didn't last long. So I found these on Amazon and bought a package of 10, thinking they wouldn't last long. However, I've only used 2 so far over the past three weeks. (No stone yet.)They are durable, and were a good purchase.

I can now filter my urine regularly to see if I am passing any kidney stones. This is an ongoing affair for me!
