Doctor Collector Welcome Kit Jurassic Park, Official Collector's Edition with exclusive accessories in a traditional metal box

Son loves Jurassic park, so purchased this. Lovely tin with nice items inside, a bit pricey.

There are a lot of Jurassic park fans out there, including myself, who are ready and eager to snap up any bit of collectible paraphernalia sent our way. Dr Collector has previously put together some great collections of bits and pieces (for a price) but I feel this is just an attempt to keep the gravy train going with many of the same items that we've had before in a fancy tin aimed at making it look like the whole bundle is worth a lot more than it actually is. I estimate maybe a fivers worth of product. Respect collectors and fans - don't exploit them.

Firstly, it's important to note that this IS NOT the item that is shown in the photo of the listing. This version is a release with several items removed or watered down. There's no floppy disk, no lanyard ribbon, no amber mosquito paperweight, no MR DNA pin and the park ticket doesn't have a silver foil finish.The banner is great, it's made from a soft cotton cloth and feels very high quality and was the main reason I wanted this kit. The maps/brochures are nice but otherwise it's mostly printed paper items. The tin is also much duller in colour than the vibrant yellow in the photo, it's closer to a mustard/brown.All in all, the items inside are great for a die hard fan of JP like myself, but £33 for a tin of mostly paper with only a few other items, at least 5 of which have been removed from the original release, is pretty poor.
