Great small vise
What a great little vise! I was looking for a small sized vise to clamp to my workbench and found this gem. It is compact but does the job perfectly. It is solid, made well, and finished well too. Most vises this size are fully painted, including the inside of the jaws used for clamping. This one has been finished, and as can be seen from the photos, is made well enough that there is perfect alignment between the jaws and no mis-alignment. I am looking forward to many years of use from this. Great find at a fair price.

Love this little cutie!
This vice just arrived, but I have already used it 3 times, once to repair an armature in a fan motor, 2nd to cut a bass guitar brass nut to size, and also to make a truss rod cover for that same bass guitar. I mount it to a little folding table I have in my bedroom, and it works out great. Makes those small projects a pleasure to do. It holds objects very snug. I also got this at a reduced cost because it was a return, with some sort of damage, but I found no damage and I saved a few bucks over retail cost because of that. Great bargain, great performing tool. Get one! Thanks. Kem. May 31, 2024.

2019 Review. I’m OCD and am surprised at this vise
I noticed some bad reviews from the past years or mixed reviews. I just got this in September 2019 and I am pleased with the fit and tolerances especially for such a “use it up and through it away” price. Either I got lucky and received “a good one” but I would rather think that the company has made great QUALITY IMPROVEMENTS over the years. For my purposes, this will probably last me a lifetime. The jaws close with precision unlike my older vise. Total height 7” inches. Jaws 3”. Top of jaw to table top 3.5”. It has 2 screw holes but so far my hardwood work bench is doing a fine job without having to add screws. I’m also not misusing the small but practical vise. I’ve cut both wood and pipe and sharpened mower blades, so far... Perfection at an incredible price for a vise this nice. Take my advice. No need to say it twice.

The Little Blue Beast
This little vice is a beast. For the price it may be unbeatable, if the jaw opening works for your project. Used it to clamp a rifle barrer/upper reciever block. I was able to push the opening up to over 3 inches, albeit it was probably hanging on by a literal thread, it locked shut for me. Holds like a champ. Handled the torque to remove factory barrel (+-70ft lbs). The barrel vise failed before this clamp did... I had used a mallet to tighten as much as possible. Slightly bent the tightening/loosening arm (insert technical term here)with the mallet, but clamp was solid. Weakest point would probably be the mounting base, but there are holes to more firmly mount with screws. Great product.

Okay for what I needed
Not bad. I used this vise during the construction of my AR. It holds reasonably well but the clamp started to slide off of the table a bit from the pressure of the torque wrench, but this could be due to the somewhat softer wood of the table I was using. Also the flat part of the screw - the part that should meet the bottom of the table when mounting it - fell off fairly soon after first use. It still works, but now I have to put that piece back in place every time I tighten it down. Not the end of the world, but annoying. For the price, this thing's fine for moderate use. Not a tool to last a lifetime or anything but good enough for most small jobs.

Ideal for holding your golf clubs while replacing grips
I needed a vise to hold the club while placing the new grip on the club. I admit, I was a little leery when I ordered thinking a $20 vise would be teeny and flimsy. I was happily mistaken. It's small (not tiny), but surprisingly has some heft and is plenty large enough for holding your clubs. I regripped my putter today. Worked like a charm. For those of you without a workshop vise, this one clamps on nice and tight to your table or bench and I would not hesitate to recommend.

Bought This To Regripping Golf Clubs
I had a small vacuum base vise that served well until the base stopped working. This vise became its replacement. It’s clamped to a ‘Work Mate’ type multi use saw horse table thingy. Is fairly stable and is working to hold golf clubs for re-gripping. Happy so far.
