Avoid these wi-fi phones
The concept is good, and they passed our initial testing; however, in production, these devices will lose their wi-fi connection and the user must MANUALLY chose to reconnect. While the phone is disconnected from wi-fi, it's no surprise you cannot receive or make calls. The system settings are minimal and do not have the proper options to correct these types of issues.

Great Phone Documentation a Little Weird
Fantastic phone. So far so good on day 1. Reading the other reviews there are a few reviews talking about the lack of good administrator documentation for the setup. Here is my setup experience: The first one only took me about an hour to setup on an Allworx 48x PBX. Now that I am familiar with the phone's web config portal. The next ICW-100G will only take me about 5 to 10 minutes to configure. The Admin Manual from incominc[dot]com is lacking on substance, but there was enough in there to point me in the right direction. First I added a Generic SIP handset to my Allworx box (as well as setup ext, call routes, etc...). Noted the username and password. After that I connected the ICW-1000G to the wireless network via the phone itself. Once connected to WiFi. I opened a web browser on the laptop and went to the phone's web config portal via it's IP address (uses port 8080). Logged in with the default password (six zeros). Click the setup link top right. Login with username [admin] and password (six zeros). Then I changed the default passwords to the Configuration tab > WEB SERVER > User Password [ICW-1000 PC-Sync the first password you enter] and the System tab > Change Password [admin username & password to get into the settings]. Finally on the Network tab > USER ACCOUNT entered the Displayname (anything you want). Phone Number and User ID are both same thing (this was the User ID from the Generic SIP setup in my Allworx box). User Password is from the Generic SIP setup in the Allworx box. Then clicked on SERVER SETTINGS. 1st Proxy is the IP of my Allworx box. Domain Realm was a * (star) and Register Expired is 3600. Rebooted phone. Works perfect. I glanced over the default audio codecs settings, and and few other settings but them all default.

We have these attached to a shoretel system. Only improvement I would recommend is a louder ringer for incoming calls since things get to be rather loud on the shop floor, particular when you keep them in a holster of some kind. So far they are such an improvement over the analog wireless phones we used to use! Configuration was a breeze once we were shown how to do it. Not much of a manual is available.

I have had a horrible experience trying to get help
I purchased this phone and have not been able to connect it to WIFI. I am unable to make calls or receive calls. I have had a horrible experience trying to get help. I reached out to the seller, Amazon, SquareTrade, and the manufacturer and no one has honored a return or offered to help resolve the issue. Wasted $150.

I've always liked the idea of Wifi SIP phones but there isn't a large market out there and I struggled with finding a PBX vendor that has ever deployed any. I decided to dive in by myself and I got one of these Unidata phones to test out the protocol in our 100,000 square foot warehouse. We've had our ICW-1000G in production for almost a year with no problems. It works perfectly with our Samsung Officeserv 7200 PBX. We have seamless handovers between Access Points with our Ruckus Wifi network. The phone does feel light and easily breakable, but we have had no issues with it being used every day in a warehouse environment. I would say that this phone feels like a Nintendo Wii control when you have it in your hands. I will most likely be investing in a few more of these for our warehouse management team in the near future.

We have 2 deployed and have been very satisfied.
Works very well with our Mitel MiVoice Business vMCD PBX. We are also using Ubiquity access points. It is a SIP phone so you will not get the functionality of a Mitel phone running MiNet (extra buttons/keys, paging, etc.), but give it an extension and it works very well. We have 2 deployed and have been very satisfied.

Don't bother
Did not register with our SIP server. We tried all sorts of things with zero success. No useful documentation in box, none to be found on the internet. Worthless device in my opinion. It's predecessor was easy to use and configure. This one, don't waste your time.

Downloaded the user and admin manuals from online. Lots of different options (which you seem to get with SIP phones), but finally got it working. It was tricky at first as I had the same SSID for my 2GHz and 5GHz WiFi, and that seemed to confuse it. After I renamed my 5GHz WiFi it connected to the 2GHz straight away and has not dropped the connection once. I have 4APs in the house and it roams really well while talking on it. Call quality is really good, I've never had an issue hearing or being heard. Price is reasonable.
