I found this battery to be just as well built as the Baofeng UV-5R itself. I much prefer having more to actually grip when working portable and this battery does the trick (as well as having a higher capacity than the stock one).Has been charging fine in the stock baofeng cradle. Has a DC barrel plug on one side and so could be charged out of the cradle with an appropriate adapter.

Really happy with this. Not only do you get longer battery life, you also get more to hold onto. I have fairly large hands so this is perfect for myself and the team.

Fits my Baofeng F8 perfectly and was a bargain

so it arrived today, and i went straight to putting it in the UV5R i have, but it would click. so I tried harder and at an angle but it wouldn’t budge.so, i unscrewed the radio’s belt clip and with the power of god and all his sons, proceeded to slam the battery with the every piece of energy i could muster.trees bent backwards, some being ripped from their roots, the roof and walls my house once had were casted into oblivion as the mightiest of storms had been culminated, thunder rippled across my town, striking all that would dare oppose it.eventually the battery snapped into place, my radio was almost destroyed from it. and I could finally enjoy my extera hours of use in peace.

A good fit for my UV-5R, but the charging socket on the unit is smaller than the plug on the charger that comes with the radio, so it can only be charged using the desktop charger unless you can find an adapter or alternative.

Works great and extends the run time on the radio as required. Last all day and more.

Increases the size of the radio, but greatly increases capacity over standard battery.

Sadly upon checking i didn't recieve the product in question at first. however the seller has been amazing with helping get a replacement out. wonderful people highly recommend this seller and this product great price and great product.
