I've consumed two packages so far out of the ten. There is definitely a physiological reaction that takes place. I wouldn't necessarily same that you become enlightened right away. But you *can* feel your blood coursing a little stronger, your brain and eye activity seems to heighten a little tiny bit. The more you eat, the more you feel it. I wouldn't suggest eating a whole package at one time. I eat about a half a package a day. It's somewhat similar to the feeling of drinking an espresso shot. A little blast of focus, kind of a hyper-awareness that drifts into your psyche for about an hour or two after eating it. Haven't had any long term effects that I'd consider negative, but I'm not sure that I would make this part of my "normal, every day routine.I guess my overall perspective is that the best way to 'heighten' your senses is naturally - with exercise, good food, marital relationship(s), meditation, etc. This *does* have an effect, but it's hard to say that it's something you can't get in better ways. I still give it a 5/5 star rating, because as far as candied ginseng goes, this does seem like a good quality product. It's just whether or not it's worth consuming this kind of product that comes into question when you really think about it.

My Korean college brought us some Ginseng from their country and that one tasted really good. I feel more energetic after eating a slice or two. So after finish that I searched it on Amazon and bought this one. The package look very similar, but definitely different, and the taste is different as well. I cannot feel the same effect as I got from the one my friend gave me.

This is very addictive because it tastes so good. Excellent texture and not too moist or too dry. I'm pigging out on 5 boxes of the slices then cool it for the remaining 5. Had some from another company that had an earthly taste (dirt), this sure doesn't. Highly recommended.

Delicious and luscious flavor! Other ginsengs will "boost" you better but those others cost 4 times as much. This one is the most "boost" for the "buck"

I got 3 boxes of ginseng slices and whole roots from 3 different brands, this one is the best, not too dry, not too soft, better taste to eat, the only thing is it is not pure 6+ years ginseng.

Slight bitterness of ginseng mixed with honey in chewable slices. Great taste. I like them for energy. They are individually sealed in easy-tear aluminum packets inside individual boxes. This makes them easier to store and carry than a large baggie of slices.

So good.
