Traxxas 6855 Center Driveshaft, 6061-T6 Blue-Anodized Aluminum

Drops in perfect on the Jato 4x4, be sure to get the 6888X Front Center Hub also if your replacing the stock plastic drive shaft. If it's your 1st time replacing the shaft, look underneath the front shock tower and remove the retainer screw holding on the drive shaft. Then remove the 6 screws holding on the front end. Gently wiggle apart (there's a tab in the center you can't see yet) and remove the stock shaft. Screw on the 6888X, slide on the drive shaft on the front hub and as you slide the front end back on, align the shaft teeth to the rear hub and you're set. Screw back in the screws you took out and go rip. Takes about 10 minutes and it was my first time doing it. Don't forget your threadlock...metal on metal always gets it.

This thing was easy and a perfect fit, i think just 5 screws and your done, just wish they made a hardened steel one because these bend so easy. I don't even know how i bent it, im not that rough with this car, its not like i jump it like my xmaxx or kratons, just normal driving and racing, thank god there only 12 bucks.

Looks great. Finally got the time to upgrade my motor on my rally car and thought with all that extra power might as well give the drive shaft it’s official upgrade to handle the power. It was easy installing it and seems to be lighter than the stock. I’ll update after a few more power runs if it holds up to the 4s power!!!! I’m going to try and abuse this just because.
