Finally!!! We had tried different types of foods for our adopted shelter cats. We tried dried and wet foods. We tried grain free and limited ingredients. We tried everything to no avail and yet one of our cats had the most horrible smelling bowel movements. Her fur is pretty so we knew it wasn’t a real allergy. She’s not itchy either. But her coat isn’t as shiny as our other cat. The vet said they are healthy so we assumed it was just digestive issues so we tried dry cat food that had probiotics added and it did help some but it wasn’t always in stock and we couldn’t just keep switching brands of dry food because it was aggravating her GI issues every time we had to switch brands because they didn’t have what we normally buy. Amazon was our go-to but even they wouldn’t have it. (Rachel Ray Iberia Health). But they always had all the other Rachel Ray cat food so we started purchasing another one of the same brand and looked for probiotics to add to the food. We tried liquids first but it didn’t work. Then I ran across this one and read the reviews and figured I’d give it a try but I wasn’t putting a lot of faith in it just yet. But man oh man! I think after about 3 days we noticed how we’d see Juniper cone out of the litter box and we were like “ Wait a second!!! It doesn’t smell like someone just died in here!” Lol Be cause it really would smell like something so rotten. I wouldn’t say it smelled of death but it was usually bad. The death smell is usually related to parvovirus. I’ve worked at a vet so I have smelled that before and it’s something you just never forget. Kinda like weed. You just know what weed smells like even if it’s been years and years since you’ve smelled it and then you get a whiff of it and you’re like “I swear I just got a whiff of weed!” Parvo is the exact same way. It literally smells like death. Like the decaying of flesh or something. It’s a very distinctive odor. Once you ever smell it you’ll never forget it. Anywho, back to the probiotics. This stuff it’s legit!!!! It takes very little. I’ve had the same jar now for a year and a half and use it twice daily for two cats and I stink have about a 1/4 of the jar left. It works! I’ve since read that many cats have difficulty digesting dry food (I also put it in their wet food they get every night) so I put some in their dry food every morning. I sprinkle it over the top and just mix it around by hand just to get the powder to coat the kibble pieces instead of just sitting over the top. I don’t want them inhaling it. That’s like a baby inhaling baby powder. Not good. Anywho, if your cat seems to have GI issues try these probiotics. It’s worth it. Between using this and OkoCat litter we can go 2-3 cleaning 2 litter boxes if we must and our house doesn’t smell like a sewage plant exploded. We do try to clean the litter boxes daily but there have been times when we’ve pushed it to 2-3 days but never lionger. OkoCat is natural wood pulp so it absorbs the urine smell and thank God it doesn’t have the dusty mess like other litter has. We use the original but some like the pellets like the shelters use. They have 3 to choose from. We don’t go through near as much litter as we did when we tried clay litter, or pretty litter (totally sucked and tracked liked sand), Fresh Step smelled good but gosh you go through so much of it so fast and it’s so dusty. Plus cats luck their paws and that’s toxic chemicals their licking/ingesting every day!!! Not only that is how strong the smell is with how sensitive cats are to scents. Their respiratory systems are being overwhelmed everytime they umentire a litter box when it’s scented.

OK so after spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars on vet bills and fecal testing kittens came from Costa Rica) even though they were supposedly dewormed etc. They had unbelievable diarrhea. I have the Purina Breeze litter box system and I use it because it's absolutely the best thing for someone with physical strength issues. However, changing these pellets out after their use was financially prohibitive. I know for a fact the nutrition they received in CR was horrid. First off, that country hates cats they're not indoor animals (they don't sell cat litter in pet stores -- that should tell you all). Secondly I knew the mother of these babies did not receive proper nutrition either. After trying all the remedies the vets told me about and giving a couple of months adjusting to good wet food. I decided maybe this has everything to do with their little bodies not having proper digestive enzymes. I have done a lot of research on cat food and I know Cats CANNOT/should not have carbs (something mother and babies had) I purchased this product as research has proven I'm able trust Dr. Becker and Dr. Mercola. I sprinkled on their food and neither one of my kittens would touch it after. Yes, cats are picky eaters, but these guys came from nothing I was hoping they wouldn't notice. I then put less that the amount rexommended just a pinch and buried it in there food - success!! I absolutely cannot tell you how much of a difference this product has made on them! NO MORE diarrhea no more stinky poops no more feeling horrible. They have more energy are happier and my litter boxes work again! I love the breeze system (do not use pine pellets- if you have more than one cat this system allowed me to see blood in urine and fecal matter- it a safe non smelly system in my book. But back to digestive enzymes. It absolutely works!!! I put a tiny bit in there food twice a day. It has made such a difference i wish vets would recommend this! Instead of $300 dollar tests. I didn't need to figure out allergies mine needed something they were lacking probably from birth! The cat food globally sorry but it's trash I am learning (still trying to find a good multivitamin to add to homemade cat food). But you don't have to wait weeks for this to work it worked on both off them in 2 days!!! This is absolutely the best product out there highly highly recommend!!!
