The molar mass of the compound (ferrous sulfate hepthydrate) is about 278 g/mol. The molar mass of iron is about 56. 56/278 = 20% iron and 80% everything else.

Ignore the other guy. Copperas = Iron sulfate

Q: Is this product good for acidifying soil for blueberries?

There are better products. Some iron (within reason) helps green up most plants, but the ferrous iron is a reductant, more like a weak base (sorta) than an acid. To acidify, use (dilute!) sulfuric or phosphoric acid, mono- or dibasic potassium phosphate, or elemental sulfur.

no. this will lower the pH slightly. also i think you are referring to algae, which grows as a result of compaction and too much water.
