Old original bumpers rotted. These are much better than original design

I use an extension ladder with a wide stabilizer to perform maintenance on my home. The gutters leave no real room to rest the ends of the stabilizer on the fascia boards, meaning I have to rest the stabilizer on the shingles. This could easily damage the shingles were it not for these end caps, which do a great job of spreading the load out over a small area and preventing excessive scraping on the shingles as I maneuver the ladder into position. Dead-simple to use, seems quite durable, much cheaper than buying a specialized stabilizer for rooftops.

Nice sturdy soft well-fitted bumper to replace the very old originals on my standoff. Big improvement and would buy again but more expensive (hence the 4 stars) than some alternatives.

I wore out the original rubber ladder offset boots and although these were a little pricey, they were a perfect fit. I was able to immediately use my offset again without worrying about roof or freeze board damage.

I needed something for the ends of my unfinished stair handrails, which my husband I both kept getting injured from with bruises and/or scratches. These fit great and have solved the problem. I would have loved black or deep brown or ivory or white, but since there are only yellow and they serve the purpose well and have taken care of the problem.. they get 5 stars from me.

Well built thick bright yellow ladder cushions. Better than what came with the ladder stabilizer.
