I used this to refill the refrigerant in my car, and it worked effectively without leaking.

use this kit to repair ac units that have a closed freon gas system, this means there is not a charging port in which to charge the unit, with these tapping saddle-type injection ports you can add the gas back in the ac unit that is not cooling, very easy to use, leak-proof performance, first with the tape installed keep the unit turned off add a small amount of gas into the unit and listen for any escaping gas, if you here it or see it , stop you will have to solder or patch the leak first. after you have stopped the leak test again by adding a small amount of gas into the system, ck patched area with soapy water look for bubbles. if good,add gas until unit starts to cool, only add a little at a time checking to see if blowing cold, use the correct gas for your unit. if it is an emergency you can mix gases ,add small amounts allowing reaction time , gases have different expansion rates, but all this is only if the compressor is running if not you have another problem and you are not ready to add freon gas and may not even need it.

To add refrigeran to ac window

The actual gauge is fine. But the side that connects to your freon has a terrible cross thread and will not seal the bottle well enough to use. I had to use my gauges for my auto to be able to fill the fridge line. The adapters and line piercing gadget works fine. So I was able to finish the job. But somebody with out other form of connection is gonna be out of luck.

This worked perfectly to repair a fridge that was low on Freon. Saved me hundreds of dollars on a repairman. Was able to do ourselves very quickly and easily.

Don't think this will solve the problem they are junk where they clap on the copper pipe very deceiving
