Sturdy and good quality
Nice. Hefty but not heavy, with a good quality finish, and well placed seam lines so that they're not noticeable. You could definitely hurt someone with the spikes, so I don't think I would say this is LARP or convention safe. I will be repainting it to use as a photo prop, but if I didn't have a specific look in mind I'd definitely say this was good to go for most fantasy purposes.

Renn faire ain't ready for this Orc
This is great value for the price. You can tell it's not made for heavy larp, but for light playful action and a costume prop its perfect. It's pretty light, and it's got a metallic shiny outside to it that obviously doesn't look real, but certainly not like a cheesy accessory either. I'm incredibly satisfied with it, and the Renaissance faire isn't gunna be able to handle this Orc Barbarian with how much confidence this thing gives me.

A lot of fun for a 6 year old!
I love this axe and we made a shield to go with it. Plus it has spikes on the axe. That's why. I like it, this is perfect size for a 6 year old kid which I am. Plus it has 2 black stripes on it to hold in the middle. It is really strong so does not beak very quick. It has spikes on the top and the bottom.

Others jealous
No warmth involved but I wanted to keep the rating high. The battle axe I ordered took a little time to get but well worth it. The other grandson were jealous. Very sturdy looks to last a long time.

Nice prop base for the price, not very durable for LARP
Nice product for the money and thankfully arrived here super quick! I modified it to fit with a cosplay that needed a weapon last minute and am not disappointed. As a LARP weapon I would say that it's not going to be terribly sturdy for you. It has a great weight and feel, and slight pleasant squish in the grip. It wiggles a little unnaturally though. My only real turnoff was the incredibly prominent mold lines which take away from the amazing design a little. An eyesore unless looking straight from the side. Had kind of a greasiness to it from the mold release agent and is a pain to get off of the surface. Takes amazingly to super glue, though. All in all, decent product for the money. Would buy and modify again, lol.

Heavier than Nerf foam
My son purchased this battle axe to use while playing Airsoft. He actually used it and was able to get several opposing players out using only the axe. The referee said he'd never seen anyone do that before! It is rather large and is sturdy foam, not as lightweight as Nerf. He is having a ball with it, so that's what counts.

Couldn't return or get money back and it broke within an hour of play.
I bought the early for a Christmas gift for my son back in Sept. Within the first hour pf play the part if the ax broke off of the toy and is ready to rip on the other side. Since I cannot replace it and get a new one or my money back, I am VERY disappointed to say the least. I'd at least like a new one or my money back but no reply from the seller. This is junk and my son is very sad. The photo above shows where it completely separated and is barely hanging on the other side with the arrow. I have super glue on it now because I’m stuck with this junk but I don’t see it holding up at all.

Cool prop, not durable enough for play fighting
This is a really cool prop, but not built well enough for play. My kids and I love to fight with foam swords, but not only is the axe a bit hard, but more importantly there is nothing attaching the axe blades to the shaft other than foam- both blades were ripped off pretty quickly, without even playing very hard with them. It was a bummer because it is a very cool weapon.
