Nice innovative product. Though needs fixed and firm tripod. My phone fell off the grips (by sliding sideways) when I was trying to fix the phone without back cover. The rubber used and mechanism can be made more sturdy. Anyway, nice product if phone cover is also used while fixing the phone within grips.

For the price and the name of Ulanzi, I didn't expect this. I have previously bought Ulanzi products. Though the price is costly, there will be no compromise on the quality. But this one was very flimsy and fragile. It does not have the sturdiness or the enough grip to hold a smartphone. The size is also very small. Along with the features, if it's sturdy and strong this would be ok. Otherwise it's not good.

Looks good but not solid. And it just can’t hold a phone as it slips out of it’s sides when held vertically.

Not holding grip for my iphone 12Pro Max.it’s low quality plastic.stability fails.my mobile fell down @ my second time using !

It's not upto the mark to hold the mic in its place and phone clip is deliberately such a low quality , you cannot assure about your phone

I can't recommend this product at all.The badThe "clamp" isn't pulling the phone together as it is indexed, which means it clicks down at certain positions and doesn't actually hold your phone safely in place. I suggest you look for an alternative that has a built-in tension spring instead.The less badThe styling is "reminiscent" of Manfrotto so if you want that look then maybe try this. But as the clamp doesn't work, it is only advisable to get this if there are no other clamps available or you're using it in a static position, in a studio, on a tripod, and your phone doesn't mind smashing on the floor and cracking in a million glassy pieces.VerdictAvoid at all costs!

I've tried this a few times and it does work ok on top of my dSLR. However, the phone clamp surfaces are too shallow to hold the phone securely. With the gel back on the phone it wont hold it at all. Removing this allows it to fit but only just and I worry the phone will fall out of the mount.The phone clamp surface is only 10mm deep compared to my other tripod phone mount which is 20mm.Phone is a Realme 6Now considering a monitor mount instead which can be used with my tripod phone mount.

This iPhone mount works as advertised and was delivered really quickly. But as always, you get what you pay for, and a tenner in this case gets you a very flimsy mount that already looks like it is going to snap after just a couple of uses. The knob to adjust tilt angle and the ratchet mechanism to hold the phone are particularly fragile. If you need anything for more than occasional use, look elsewhere.

I bought this item to use an extra camera phone whilst attached to one of our DSLrs.The first one arrived and was a little loose, so I contacted customer support and they immediately sent out a replacement within 24hrs…. In over 50 years on this planet I’ve not come across such prompt customer support.I will be using these guys again as i have first hand professional experience from them.

For the price you cannot go wrong. I use a iPhone 11 Pro with its case on and no issues.Works perfect with the Rode Micro.
