A few bits of hastily-hacked plastic
There is nothing to this product. No clever anchoring mechanism to ensure the poles are firmly rooted in the ground, and no innovative clasping mechanism between anchor and pole. Just two sets of sloppily hacked tubing, one slightly thicker (the "anchors") than the other ("the hoops").Unsurprisingly, they just fall over towards each other, and I've gone straight back to using bits of bamboo, which I didn't have to pay 25 quid for.One of the poorest purchases I've ever made on Amazon.

OK for lightweight jobs.
These hoops are simplicity itself to use, and luckily suited my purpose very well. However, the "anchors" are just plastic tubes, without even any holding devices, and the pressure of the hoops definitely needs a firm block on either side (as inside a raised bed, see pic). Also, they tend to bend towards each other once the netting is tightened. A small, protected raised bed should be fine, use in a larger, open area might not be successful.

I could go on about their uses for hours I think!!
These are brilliant for making your own bespoke fruit cages!! I've made one for the raspberries this morning by bending 3 of them into hoops, using one anchor for each hoop to keep them circular, hooking each (about 2 foot apart vertically) through a trellis behind the berries as you actually form the hoop. Wire from the front of the top hoop to an anchor screw in the wall and then wire from the front of each loop to the one underneath to support. Then hang netting over the top loop, gather it and tie off and secure the netting sides to the trellis at the rear with some 'twisty' and voila. Tent pegs around the bottom so you can get in to harvest etc. I've ordered more to create something for my strawberries and the ones I've got left from this order are for making a cage to stop the dogs and kids walking on the lawn where I'm reseeding it in sections. It also stops the pigeons in their tracks! Can you tell I love these things??

Anchor posts too short
Overall this is a good product, it would have got five stars for sturdiness if anchors had been twice the length. Mine are to be used on raised beds so I simply drilled a hole halfway down the anchors and screwed them to wooden frame of the beds this stops them being pulled out and also increases the height of the hoops. Five stars for on time delivery and value.

Fantastically easy to use
These are a fantastic product, they make erecting a tent over my brassica's a doddle. Why did I bother with wood or cane frames for so long? They've survived the growing season without a problem, even through this years strong winds and hopefully they'll last many more years.I needed to extend the length of these with some cane to get the correct height but that was no hardship and together with Agralan netting I've found a very user friendly solution to Cabbage White Butterflies and ravenous pigeons.

Recommended !
I decided to invest in a pack of these hoops to protect my palm trees from the snow and winter frost. They are flexible and yet strong. They come with black joins which you can use or I used 10cm pipe connectors. The hoops can be cut to the required length with a plastic pipe cutter . For myself I bought bubble wrap, plant ties and made the shelter with these hoops around 1 metre tall and 1 metre wide. Some metal pegs keep the whole lot down and steady. It's worked a treat and would throughly recommend .

Pheasants go hungry
Pheasants ravaged my strawberries at the start of the season and for every one I picked for myself, one was destroyed by the birds. I searched high and low for a product that would protect my fruit and ordered the garden hoops. Delivery was swift, installation simple and now the pheasants can't get at my delicious fruit. When I want to pick the berries, all I have to do is push the netting back.

Great product
Love these - have now bought another pack of 10. For the first time, I managed to net over a whole allotment bed of strawberries in about five minutes rather than struggle with canes and tying string to keep them together. They are sturdy, easy to assemble and you can adapt them for height/spread. Absolutely love them.
