I have a closet full: Levi's, Goodfellas, Columbia. They are rough inside, develop a crease where the buckled sits and stretch over time.I gave it one last search and hit on Bullhide belts and ordered one. Now this is a belt! thick; clearly made of quality leather. It crackles like a leather saddle or jacket if you move it around! I never noticed that my other belts didn't make that satisfying sound. The stitching on mine goes all the way through - not stamped on. Looking through the holes you can see leather all the way through and not some cardboard or cloth inner lining. The buckle is solidI paid about $50, but I expect this belt to last a lot longer than the three cheapos I just tossed. It looks great by the way.

This is great looking belt. It looks good for dress or casual wear. It's even thick enough to use as a gun belt. The brown color looks really nice. I want to buy the black one next. It's definitely the nicest belt I ever have owned.

If your looking for a workhorse or just a good looking belt wraped around you, this is the belt. Best of all, it's made right here in the U.S.A. I wear a 33" jean. I got a 36" belt and it's perfect. This is the nicest belt I have ever owned. It's very thick and looks rugged as all get-out. I took a few measurements with a digital caliper just in case anyone is interested. The belt leather is .224 inches thick and 1.486 inches wide. My Carhart belt which I have worn for many years is noticeably thinner and not as wide (even though it is sold as a 1.5-inch belt). This Bullhide Belt is also very rigid which makes it a good holster belt. I wear 36" waist pants and I bought the 38" belt. This was a good choice and I could have gone with a 40" belt and still be OK. A 36" belt would have been way too small so you will definitely want to order a belt that is at least one size larger than your waist size. Also, I wanted to see how the belt looked with my western buckle ensemble and it looks great (as you can tell from the photo above), but the leather is so thick that I couldn't use the slide-on belt tip. If you intend to install a slide-on belt tip on this belt you better make sure the slot for the tip is wide enough to fit over the belt, or you won't be able to use it. Other than the fact I couldn't use the belt tip on this belt, (which isn't the fault of the belt manufacturer), I am very happy with this purchase. Five stars all the way.

Because of the price, I was hesitant at first, but WOW, well worth it. Thick real leather, double stitched for durability. I wear this belt with jeans and my wife approves! Made in USA by a small family business. I liked this belt so much, I bought two more for my work pants, since I was constantly trashing the "reversible" belts, even the famous brand ones. This belt is all I wanted it to be. I’m a 48” waist and had problems with belts twisting, stretching, splitting, and breaking.This belt is thick, realLeather, one piece genuine thick stiff leather. The buckle can be changed out and is held in place by heavy duty snaps. The belt is stiff so it holds a big guys heavy pants in place.I searched years for a belt like this and am hoping my review helps others understand that this is the one that you have been hoping to find.I bought all of the name brands and they lasted a couple months, tried them all and each one quickly delaminates, stretched, peeled, etc.. I measured my current belt as per the instructions in the size chart and it matched perfectly to the middle hole.The belt is ALL leather and is beautifully crafted. What a great step up from the $20 belts I had been previously buying.
