I bought this, this time, to clean the contact in the center of my car cigarette lighter socket. My phone charger blinked in and out before. I used this to clean 20 years of rust in seconds. Then I protected the fresh metal with a drop of a de-oxifying electrical connection enhancing spray.The glass fibers are perfect as they are not conductive. Nothing will get shorted out by the fibers.These last a long time. I'll probably never need another.Photo is a before cleaning. Sorry for no after. Trust me when I say now my phone charger is stable as a rock now.

I use it to get corrosion off of old plugs and sockets, as well as off of threaded pipe connections. I've also used it to remove corrosion off of circuit boards, but it has a tendency to flare after a bit, which makes precision work hard. Would be nice if they made a thinner version, or a wedge that could get into tigher places.

Does remove rust as advertised , but only good for very small jobs. Started on one of my chrome wheels which I had already removed most of the rust. Using the pen for corners only lasted for about 5 minutes. Bought two more, finished the first wheel, then started another wheel could not finish even with the second pen.

I have been using this for several years and am never disappointed.

I didn’t need to take apart my old Gameboy like Youtube videos suggested. I just removed the rusted batteries, I used a moist Qtip w water (not wet or drenched) to remove the white rusted excess. Once thats all gone, I used this pen on the black rusted areas on the silver Gameboy battery sensors. I used the entire pen but now my Gameboy works. Depending on how much rust, you may need 2 of these. I didn’t need to take my Gameboy apart or find someone to fix it.

It does the job well. I use it to clean the charging contacts on my work flashlight.

Excellent product, works very well, such a poor rating because the bristles break way to easily and they literally feel like little needles and somehow manage to find themselves buried in your fingers each time you use it.

Had one of these years ago and it worked great. Ordered another one because they are very handy. Excellent for cleaning out chips in your car paint before touch ups, excellent to clean dirty and corroded electrical contacts in electronics. Also for removing rust on tools.

No good for car rust spots might have some other uses

Does the job of taking rust away on a car.Just would like it to be bigger , have lots of rust spots.

Amazing product to remove surface rust in fine areas! Had a small little dented area on the rear bumper of my truck after another car slightly bumped into it with its license plate. The dent was extremely narrow and surface rust started to form. Normal sandpaper or grinding tools wouldn't cut it and I spent so much time at local hardware stores trying to find a tool to do this job.Then I found this tool and it got the job done PERFECTLEY! For anyone interested in sanding or removing rust in very fine areas this tool would be perfect for you too!

Ça fonctionne, bybye la rouille de surface...Pour de petites surfaces, sinon ça s'use très rapidement.Je n ai pas regardé peut être y a-t-il des recharges dispo ou encore des modeles pour plus grandes surfaces...Un plus!!
