A surprisingly great little lens for the money!
This is a surprising little find. The manual focus is silky smooth, on an xt4 it renders black and white beautifully, lovely roll off into the shadows, sharp in the centre, touch soft at the edges but that’s to be expected at this price point, and of course the cliche of all cliches but the bokeh is genuinely fantastic, no swirlies yet. You’ll want to use focus peaking with this lens, which works incredibly well with this particular lens. I suspect many hours of fun in the streets putting this lens through its paces.

Great picture quality but poor build quality
Excellent picture quality but the lens seems to separate in the middle, (rocks from side to side) this might be how they are as very inexpensive, if it gets worse I'll have to return it.

25mm f1.8 on a Fujifilm X-Mount
This lens exceeded all my expectations. It is small, very well engineered, fits my X-E3 (and X-A5, X-E1 & X-E2s) bodies as good as the original Fuji lenses. It is manual focus but non the worse for that - in fact with focus peaking it drops into focus and renders colours beautifully. Black and white is punchy, and stop down to f2.8 and you have all the sharpness you can handle. This is an ideal street photography lens, set it up properly (zone focus, aperture f8 and Auto ISO in the camera) and you can shoot all day with virtually no need to change your settings. The focus ring and aperture ring is smooth and positive, without being too stiff. They hold focus and aperture without slipping - a real plus point in my book. Too many lenses are sloppy and loose in their controls - this one is just right.Oh, have I mentioned the price yet? Under £70 for a lens of this quality is a steal - you'd be mad not to get one for your system.5 stars, Pergear.

Great lens for the price
Great wee lens, small in size, good build quality, very sharp even wide open. Ok, the edges are a bit soft but it doesn't bother me at all. The focus ring stops hard at infinity and everything at the distance is sharp (I had a chance to try 2 other of these cheap lenses and they both had problems with focusing at infinity). Nice flares when shooting against the 🌞 (or it's a bad thing - you decide). The attached photos from my testing only had curves correction applied.

You won’t be disappointed
Got this for my fujifilm XT-30. It’s my second Pergear, I got the 50mm which gave brilliant pictures but the lens was faulty, flared very badly in any form of bright light, indoors and outdoors. With my refund I decided to take a punt on the 25mm and certainly wasn’t disappointed for the price paid. It is a bit soft at the edges, but outside of that absolutely no faults with the lens and couldn’t recommend any higher. Cheap as chips, buy it, you won’t be disappointed.

Surprising results for a bargain
Surprising quality at a bargain price. This lens is surprisingly well made and performs above its price bracket. It vignets wide open but this disapears by f4. Sharpness is great if you keep to the middle aperture range, not a Zeiss killer but great for general photos and in situations where you would not want to risk using expensive lenses

For what you pay , amazing.
I still cant believe how great this lens is for the money i paid , please take this in context ive had vastly superior glass but that costs hundred of pounds , believe me this not hundreds of pounds worse, if your ok with manual focus , buy a copy

Amazing lens at any price!!!
This lens produces images which have that 'vintage' feel with not unpleasant softness at full aperture but become razor sharp at f4 and below. But better than this, the micro-contrast is phenomenal. Better than with my Fuji equivalent and a must for black and white photography. Don't hesitate at this price, you'll be amazed.
