Blown Away by This Beast of a Fan!
After 8.5 long years, our trusty warehouse fan finally bit the dust. It had a good run, but we knew we needed something with the same power and reliability to keep things cool. Enter the DEWALT Industrial Warehouse Fan—and wow, did it deliver! When I saw it on Amazon, I knew it was “the one.” DEWALT is already a name you can trust, and this fan lives up to the hype! It’s like a mini tornado in the best way possible—super powerful, keeping the warehouse (and us) cool even on the hottest days. The fan is built like a tank, too. Sturdy, easy to move, and it pushes out some air. Plus, it’s got that classic DEWALT toughness—you know it’s built to last (hopefully another 8.5 years and beyond!).Bottom line: If you need a reliable, industrial-strength fan that can take on anything, this is the one!

It makes a great wind!
LIKE: it's a fan, it blows a LOT of air. Yes, it's a bit loud...but it's for the shop, we want that much air because it's HOT in the garage and we have tools going anyway so a little extra noise isn't going to make much of a difference. The ONLY complaint? The cord's too short. Come on! You KNOW that thing is going to need to roam around a bit depending on what you're working on and who grouches the loudest that they need more air. So the cord should be SHOP long, not sit it next to the only outlet not hidden by work benches.

Air Movement
I purchased this Dewalt 20 inch fan to replace a Patton Max Velocity 18 inch fan that ran flawlessly since 1986 until it seized up and died. On the lowest setting, the Dewalt seems to move less air and is a tad noisier than my old fan. I attribute this to the blade design. I use the fan on the patio to help me cool off in the Arizona heat after yard work running it at a higher speed while getting noisier will not disturb anyone. Overall I am very happy. I thought bigger and industrial would be better, and maybe it is. Time will tell. I will say the price is right. It is a Dewalt.EDIT: After a couple of days use in the evening to stir up the air into a cooling breeze, it is not as efficient as I had hoped it would be. For all the noise, the air movement is rather soft if that makes any sense. The air is spread out in a wide cone rather than a straight out concentration. I do believe that a better fan would be your typical household style and suggest that folks visit stores selling fans and try them out before spending the money. The Dewalt is a fine fan but is not the equal to the old Patton with regards to felt air movement.

Fantastic
This fan blows a tone of air. I use it exclusively at night to bring in the outside cool air into a hot house.Flippin amazing, during the day out upstairs is 10+degrees hitter than down, but in the morning, with this fan going all night, that's reversed (assuming outside temps drop🤔)Yes it's noisy, what fan honestly isn't. I turn the TV up and can hear it just fineIf you're expecting a silent fan, don't bother, if you need an air mover, this is the way.

Not bad but not genuine Dewalt quality
Dewalt quality is out the window with this one.Its not bad, in facts its reasonably good but it does not feel like dewalt to be honest.Maybe some good Chinese brand, yes but otherwise no.

Garage Fan
I bought this fan for my husband to use during his projects in the heat, and it has been fantastic. It's sturdy and heavy-duty, providing a great flow of air. It makes a wonderful addition to any garage. Highly recommend for anyone needing a reliable fan.
