This is my first tool set for bonsai maintenance and it changed my life. The tools are sharp and make the work easier.I bought this set and some other tools separately, also got a toolbox to keep all of my tools in a single place as it’s not included in the set. Definitely recommended for beginners like me.Wish you the best in your bonsai era!

Tools appear well made, have a smooth exterior finish, and feel good in the hand. All joints are a bit stiff but that isn't necessary a bad thing as it should help keep the joint play down over time. Most good jointed tools require a little wear in to be smooth. Cutter jaws feel sharp and have a good flush contact sueface area. Scissors are easy to use and have a good smooth blade overlap. Time will tell if these tools last but I think they will be great for my bonsai tree maintenance needs and if taken care of will last a long, long time!

Love the quality of the tool just wish they came in a nicer bag or pouch where the tools don’t touch. Other then that good buy.

Based on the very few times I have used the tools, they feel very good, sharp and easy to use.

They work exactly as expected. They are heavy enough to make precise cots. Easy to keep sharp. Good price for the quality.

For the price it's a good set to get started.

Bonsai has been a hobby of mine for more than 30 years and I've never had an actual set of bonsai tools. I was somewhat hesitant in ordering, because I usually go to the negative reviews first and work my way up to the positive.I have yet to use these tools, but I'm extremely happy with the appearance and quality. I look forward to many years using them

I must say i was impressed when I opened these up, very nicely built and a good quality product. Work great as well, very sharp and perfect for trimming my little trees. Definitely recommend
