It came with 2 fans and only one worked so disappointed

I am not a fan of this automated fan and would not recommend it, especially when comparing it to the manual Holmes two-fan window fan, which I do like. First of all, this Bionaire fan is brightly lit even when it is off, so I have to unplug it to get rid of the bright red light area. Secondly, both fans run and you can't choose just one, like with the Holmes window fan. Third, the controls are confusing as heck. The designers of this fan seemed more interested in making a digitally-controlled fan rather than user-friendliness or functionality. I am not digitally ignorant or anti-computer; this fan is just not as appealing, friendly or functional as the Holmes manually set two-fan window fan.

Annoyingly, we're trying to survive the WORST heat wave in living memory at home. Two of our previous 3 Bionaire fans died within a month of each other after just 3 yrs of use. We just bought TWO more of these remote-controlled fans, and one of them rattles SO LOUD at high speed that it has to go back.You can buy these Made in CH.... fans at Costco, Amazon or wherever, and we got these at Amazon, so we'll hopefully get the replacement unit while our HEAT WAVE rages ON. Very cheaply made, so typical of poor manufacturing these days from that part of the world. Considering that 2 of our 3 older units died in a few years (of use during 4 mos of summer only!) and the NEW one is a piece of garbage, I'd recommend you look elsewhere for a window fan.
