Kids French (French Edition)

I gave this to an adult Francophile, she put it up at work, and it seemed to attract all the fun people to her cubicle!

I was super impressed that the company included two tiles to replace two that had the wrong translation on the back. However, the accent mark on à is going the wrong way, which is a problem, especially if I want to use these for my French class. I'm hoping some whiteout and thin sharpie will do the trick, but I haven't tried it yet. Also, there are no "tu" or conjugations for "tu", so I guess kids can't "write poems" for their friends? (Also, no "vous" with conjugations or infinitives for using two verbs at once.) Overall, I knew what I was getting into when I read the other reviews as far as limited word choices, but I had been trying to create my own with magnets, and this was much better than that. Again, those two tiles were an unexpected blessing.

This is a great kit that I bought as a gift for an adult. Really fun way of learning the basics in French since the tin itself is blank and magnetic, so you can whack the magnets straight onto the box. Nice selection of words, although a few more would have been good. When you open the tin it looks like there's hardly anything in it, but it gives you room to play at least. Overall, very worthwhile.

My daughter has fun forming sentences on the fridge that I can't understand! (Hey, it keeps her practicing and learning her french!)This is a great educational game for kids-teens!

This game is lots of fun and quite educational. I use it with my French students. It makes learning fun and prompts the creation of some very interesting sentences in French. I highly recommend this game!

There are not enough word combinations to truly practice French.
